Authorities and Responsibilities

Competence Requirements

• Preferred NTC 2 / Diploma in Engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working in related industry, and having 2 – 3 years of supervisory experience and preferably with working knowledge in machining processes.
• PC literate
• Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and is an effective team player who is also self driven with a strong achievement orientation.

Primary

1. To Provide primarily support at production department.
2. Assist superiors in prepare and compile reports.
3. Prepare, generate and release job order / purchase requisition to various departments of the confirmed job orders.
4. Responsible for planning of production output, monitor machine capacity, OEE etc.
5. Work closely among inter-departments to ensure committed schedules are met.
6. Provide regular update to the sales/Projects team on project development in a timely manner.
7. Maintenance and upkeep records of Production/Engineering/Technical documents.
8. Arrange production run according to Supervisor/HOD instruction.

Education level:

1. Min. NTC/Nitec level ME/Mechatronic or its relevant.

Experience level:

1. Two (2) years in relevant experience in clerical environment or manufacturing or its relevant

4. Ability to read, understand mechanical drawing and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.

Job Summary:
The Production Lead Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production process of chemical products within the organization. • Analyse and resolve any production-related issues or challenges, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions in a timely manner.

Requirement:

• Strategize on maintenance, work instruction and methods to create plant equipment preventive maintenance procedures.
• Support in the planning of routine maintenance of production equipment.
• Analyze breakdowns, diagnose faults, and lead time critical equipment repairs. Implement preventive measures to improve machine reliability.
• Work with reliability engineers to improve equipment performance and extend equipment useful life cycle.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the maintenance (corrective, preventive, predictive) of plant equipment, wet process and dryer, dry blending and packaging, Clean In Place systems, warehouse in comply with the Site Safety and GMP procedures to ensure good uptime and good MTBF.
• Responsible for support the equipment qualification and validation, such as walkdown, punch list commissioning, IQ/ OQ/ PQ for any new project.
• Responsible for execution of work order and record job performed via MAXIMO system.
• Responsible for writing Job Aids and Maintenance SOP writing, CCA and ER investigation.
• Manage and lead contractor, vendors and service providers to perform maintenance or project works.
• Responsible for Maintenance budge for area of responsibilities
• Lead and Take part in continuous improvement efforts/ projects.
• May act as delegate to the Engineering Manager when required. 
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Aerospace/aeronautical or related discipline
• Min 5 - 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing plant
• Prior experience with packaging processes ideal
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Utilizes routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components.
2. Performs electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair. Identifies and corrects errors.
3. Observes all safety standards. Maintains a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment. Attends required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices. Promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept. 4. Utilizes test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components. Enters data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details. May perform computer programming, repair or software
5. Details finished work. Receives parts and performs audits to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform built, test and repair. Inspects parts for defects. Troubleshoots and improves processes.
