Market Analyst Intern
Responsibilities
- Preparing and publishing daily market outlook report for various channels.
- Keep up to date on the latest news and fresh developments within the financial markets.
- Assist in the preparation and production of stock picks and other ad-hoc thematic reports.
- Work closely with Chief Market Strategist to identify potential trading themes and strategies.
- Collaborate across functions with various internal stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of market insights via appropriate channels.
- Provide support where necessary for seminars/webinars and media events.

Requirements
- Able to commit at least 6 months for the entire duration of the internship.
- Economics and/or finance related education background.
- Internship experience within market research, sales & trading and investment management space not a must, but preferred.
- Have basic knowledge of financial products and the different asset classes.
- A strong passion for both fundamental analysis and technical analysis is required.
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills is required. Fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, especially during periods of important economic news and always on campaigns.
