Who we are looking for

We are seeking an Associate to join our dynamic team in Singapore. This role will serve as integral support across multiple account teams covering Singapore and Thailand market. In this role, you will learn from our marketing communication specialists, digital experts on modern digital marketing and how PR is at the heart of our clients’ brand socialisation and businesses. You will also be involved in the agency’s innovations and marketing initiatives, such as the Gen Z/ Consumer Incubator and social media storytelling.

We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented and creative self-starter with a passion for marketing communications in the consumer lifestyle space.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of innovative digital communications strategies and public relation plans for clients, including:

o Identification of relevant media platforms

o Crafting of compelling narratives

o Demonstration of understanding on the digital landscape: social media platforms etc.

o Demonstration of knowledge on the media/influencer landscape

• Identify and build relationships with key media and influencers. Proactively consume relevant media sources to stay updated and in the know with industry trends and happenings

• Actively pitch to appropriate media and influencers about client news to secure media placements, with due diligence on media research and interesting pitch angles

• Monitor and analyse traditional and digital outlets for coverage of client news, competitor and industry developments

• Able to independently implement small-scale campaigns and conduct influencer outreach for relevant campaigns

• Support material development, event logistics, and other related tasks (content briefs, pitch notes, press materials) with attention to detail and minimal factual error

• Begin building client relationships

• Support agency leadership opportunities and assist with new business opportunities, as required

Requirements

• Prior internships/employment in a PR/marketing agency or similar environment preferred

• Strong command of English and Thai with excellent oral and written communication skills

• Strong presentation skills to be able to communicate key messages in a concise manner

• Good understanding of local and Thai media/influencers and digital landscape

• Good understanding of relevant trends and happenings to be able to contribute significantly in brainstorms and development of plans

Key focus for this position is to convert marketing qualified leads to sales ready opportunities using our industry leading tools and techniques.

This position plays a key role in supporting our Sales team and a great opportunity to bridge between Marketing and Sales function.

The preferred candidate should possess at least 3 years of solid experience in prospecting and lead qualification, skillful in technology and solution sales and engaging with senior executives in MNCs in local and regional market.

Reporting to Head of Business Development, the role requires a customer-centric approach to engage prospects, understand needs and create interest about the company’s products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and initiate first point of contact with potential leads through various channels, such as phone calls, emails, video conference, social media etc.
• Develop deep understanding of potential prospects needs to match with the company’s products and services.
• Introduce the company’s products and services and provide information and clarity where required.
• Assess marketing generated leads (MQL) engagement activities and evaluate if lead’s fit to company’s ideal customer profile and sales criteria.
• Gather needs and requirements of MQL to establish qualified leads (SQL) before handoff to sales team.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships, providing prospects with upfront information and recommendations, where necessary.
• Collaborate with Marketing to provide lead nurturing content for continuous customer engagement, as well as provide feedback for campaign optimization.
• Keeping detailed notes of engagements and collaborating with Sales to monitor and track pipeline activities.
• Keep up to date about company’s products and services as well as industry trends and competing products/services for appropriate representation to potential customers.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related experience
• Proven sales techniques and strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Comfortable in performing outbound activities that converts to sales appointments
• Must have previous experience in advocating/selling ERP or SaaS products and services to high value B2B customers, and setting up
• Prior experience in CRM or loyalty solutions will be advantageous
• A strong relationship builder with at least 3 years of experience in sales or business development related role
• Familiarity with digital solutions and tools to analyze prospects’ business
• Customer oriented with exceptional interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivated, results-driven and numbers-oriented
• Able to perform independently as well as collaboratively
• Able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
