• Researching on electronic components and design new products to meet market needs.
• Supporting complete R&D project life cycle and participate in all phases from concept to manufacturing through designing, prototyping, validation and production of R&D products, taking into account the functionality, feasibility, quality, manufacturability, costs and completion time.
• Giving concise and informative demo/presentations to other team members or Product Managers about design concepts.
• Finalizing a design and its deliverables in order to facilitate a smooth transition to the relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (Electrical/Electronics) from a recognized University/Institution.
• 2 to 3 years of industry relevant passive electronic component design experience.
• Understanding & work knowledge in AutoCAD Electrical.
• Experience with regulatory compliances (EMC) and industrial standards would be advantageous.
• Familiar with schematics capture / layout design tools and electronics measurement instruments (oscilloscope, data logger).
• Good understanding of product safety, environmental testing and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) will be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of electronics fundamental and principles.
• Strong passion for product design.
• Creativity and self-motivated.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willing to travel frequently within South East Asia on a need to basis.

• Reviewing and presenting the monthly monitoring diagnostic reports to the Customer.
• Reviewing and presenting the inspection findings and outage reports to the Customer.

Requirements:

• Previous site work experience in Long Term Service Agreements, plant commissioning, field service, and/or maintenance and overhaul of GTCC power plants or industrial plants rotating equipment is preferable.
• Previous customer facing experience where there is regular interaction with plant personnel to provide troubleshooting support and to resolve problems.
• Technical knowledge in GTCC operations and maintenance.
