Job Summary:

Field Engineer (AGV)

• Permanent role
• Basic range from $4,000 to $5,000
• Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the commissioning of AGVs at customer sites, including on-site user acceptance testing.
• Ensure the performance and reliability of the company's AGV fleet, network, and customer site infrastructure.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting to address issues beyond the capabilities of first-level field support technicians.
• Monitor the health and operations of the company's AGV fleet and proactively resolve issues before they affect customer operations.
• Offer technical guidance to customers on operational concerns, software updates, and general maintenance tasks.

• Assist in the design and creation of AGV missions using the company's proprietary mission description language.
• Provide pre-sales technical assessments when needed.
• Manage infrastructure, including reflective markers and networking equipment.
• Participate in Proof of Concept demonstrations with demo AGVs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer representatives to ensure smooth communication and operations.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s or Diploma with experience in a technical field (including EE, ME, CS, Robotics)
• 3 years of relevant (customer facing) work experience
• Must be able to focus and drive issues to closure in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Strong communication and people skills. Customer-centric mindset. Willingness to go above and beyond to keep customers happy.
• Experience with Linux (ideally Ubuntu) administration, tools and Bash/Python scripting.
