We are looking for Senior Data Engineer to join Data Engineer team squad. You will be responsible for platform administration, operational support, small change and release management. Larger, more complex changes are delivered by an L3 squad and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Release Management and Support activity (~60%):

· Assist the team with Production code deployment and data platform support

· Act as a gatekeeper Production following JERAGM’s change management process.

· Support production data pipelines and reports.

· Provide detailed analysis of data issues in Production with a quick turnaround time.

· On occasion, provide support for applications in Public Holidays and in weekend releases.

· Compile and present monthly Ops reports.

· Help the Data Engineering Manager by sharing evidence based on data-driven analysis.

· Set up security for end users when required.

Data Engineering (~40%):

· Design and deliver data solutions using an agile, iterative approach based on Scrum.

· Develop high quality data pipelines using Spark, Python, SQL and Azure services.

· Collaborate with the Data Engineering Manager on technical architecture and design.

· Analyse and estimate IT changes, providing input on technical opportunities, constraints, and trade-offs.

· Create documentation and present to both technical and non-technical audiences.

· Handover 1st line support to the JERAGM IT Ops teams and 2nd/3rd line support to the L2 squad.

· Conduct detailed testing for development activities and demonstrate results according to the delivery methodology and coding standards.

· Create complex charts and reports using Python libraries, Databricks, and Power BI.

Technical Skills

· 8 plus years of relevant experience.

· Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL Queries, Stored Procedure etc.

· Proficient in Python, or the ability to learn basic Python for the interview process.

· Experience with Azure or a willingness to learn and deepen knowledge of Azure platforms.

· Exposure to Azure Databricks, or an eagerness to gain experience working with Databricks.

· Experience orchestrating data pipelines using Azure Data Factory or SSIS.

· Knowledge of Python packages such as Pandas, Numpy, and Seaborn.

· Understanding of Big Data, MapReduce, Spark, and file formats like Parquet, Avro, and ORC.

· Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Support:

· Experience in a support role with experience using JIRA or similar tools to track issues and manage them through a small team.

· Experience managing releases under a change control process.

· Experience of communicating with users and other stakeholders.

Software engineering and delivery:

· Source code management e.g. Azure DevOps, Git

· Agile delivery methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban

• Drive & implement maintenance cost, quality & yield improvement project.

• Impart equipment knowledge and skill to shopfloor maintenance team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve major breakdown equipment.
• Expert in the following areas: Equipment/Handler Change kit conversion, Handler critical parameter control (e.g. mechanical alignment, pressure, motor), Jam statistics analysis.

Your profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Degree in Mechatronic/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering.
• Min 5 - 8 years of experiences in Final Test equipment in semiconductor industry.
• Experience in Tri temp IC Test Handler - E.g. Delta Matrix/Advantest M48xx series is preferred.
• Strong knowledge in applying problem-solving and analysis tool, e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, QC tool.
• Technically sound and strong desire to build up technical competency.
• Lead to recommend design change to improve equipment performance.
• Passionate in problem solving and drive multiple team members on PSDM.
• Project management and proactive communicator providing timely update to various stakeholders.

MISSION

The Business Analyst is responsible for implementing and maintaining new applications within the organization. He integrates and inter-connects the various applications of the organization, so that they operate in a unified and automated manner. He provides support to the end users.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the IT-Apps Manager, the Business Analyst will perform the following main missions:

1. Project Management and Business Analysis (40-50%)

Plan and integrate new applications into the organization following IT application lifecycle best practices:

· Participate to the functional analysis of needs with various teams (finance, procurement, HR, education teams)
· Explore and benchmark solutions
· Plan and manage the project
· Guarantee clear communication and guidelines with the vendors
· Test and coordinate UAT of the selected solution with users
· Ensure specifications are met, documentation and deliverables are complete and updated
· Deploy and train the relevant stakeholders (support team, managers, end-users)

2. Data Integration and Automation (20-30%)

Ensure connectivity, dataflow and automation between the existing applications:

· Study current data flows and data mapping and propose automation
· Setup and maintain the interfaces between the applications
· Monitor data security and data flows to ensure data is up to date in all the systems and database
· Setup dashboards and automated reporting to feed pertinent data to stakeholder
· Maintain source code and interfaces documentation

3. Application Support (20-30%)

· Provide Ensure the support level 2 to the end users and subsequent continuous improvements.
· Identify and provide SOP for the level 1 helpdesk.

SKILLS, ABILITY AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

· Master’s in computer sciences or information technology
· 3-7 years experience in applications, interfaces or integration development
· Proficiency in databases (SQL)
· Proficient in scripting and automation (Powershell, HtmlTML, Python, Devops)
· Experience with vendors management
· Proficiency in English
