We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Fundraising Manager to lead and execute our fundraising efforts. This individual will oversee all aspects of fundraising and donor relationship building while supporting leadership in shaping the future of our organization.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vessel Manager to join our dynamic team at PIL. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of assigned ships, maintaining asset value, ensuring statutory compliance, managing budgets, and providing timely technical assistance to ensure the seamless flow of business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned ships thereby taking necessary actions and decisions to maintain asset value of the ships, statutory compliance, budget management and timely technical assistance to ensure seamless flow of business operations.
• Provide guidance and solutions on technical issues for optimal performance of ships thereby meeting the service requirements in a cost efficient manner.
• Plan, coordinate and implement major repairs, dry-dockings and vessel retrofit upgrades.
• Make accurate budgeting and managing ships within the approved budget.
• Coordinate with procurement and contracts department to ensure timely supply of spare parts and consumables to ships.
• Ensure ships are managed in compliance with all Flag state, Classification society and Port State requirements.

MUST HAVE:

· Graduate Engineer and/or holder of Certificate of Competency (COC) Class 1 (Unlimited Foreign Going).

· Experience in Dual Fuel (DF) Vessel management, new build vessel deliveries and has sailed as an Engineer on ships with DF propulsion systems.

· Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.

· Experience as a Chief Engineer on ocean-going vessels, or as a Technical Superintendent/Vessel Manager.

· Strong knowledge of vessels’ technical requirements and voyage regulations.

· Excellent project management and negotiation skills.

· Digital fluency, including proficiency in Microsoft tools.

WE VALUE:

• Experience in Dual Fuel (DF) Vessel management, new build vessel deliveries and has sailed as an Engineer on ships with DF propulsion systems.
• Minimum 10 years relevant vessel manager / superintendent experience with global liner firm, apart of Technical Superintendent.
• Experience as Chief Engineer onboard ocean-going vessels / Class 1 CoC Master Mariner with prior sailing as Master
• Digital fluency skills - IT knowledge of Microsoft tools (excel, word, powerpoint)
• Good communication skills - written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Planned Maintenance Systems, technical, procurement and logistics processes
• Growth and learning attitude
• Strong leadership and people management skills

Responsibilities:

• Major Incident Management: Lead the response to major incidents, coordinating teams to ensure timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Act as the central point of contact during incidents, providing regular updates, setting action plans, and tracking progress to resolution.
• Drive post-incident reviews, documenting outcomes, lessons learned, and corrective actions.

• Stakeholder Communication: Prepare regular reports and performance metrics on incident and problem management activities for senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Min 5 years of experience in major incident roles within a complex IT environment.
• Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and IT service management best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or equivalent.
• ITIL v3/v4 certification preferred
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
