JERA GM have and will continue to make significant investments building on top of these systems to tailor them to the specific needs of its business. This in-house capability needs to be able to extend, customise, configure and integrate these systems to meet the ongoing needs of the business. The Core Platform Analyst Developer will:

• Work to obtain excellent business knowledge of the full transaction cycle within a multi-commodity energy trading environment such that they can converse directly with users and other stakeholders with minimal hand-holding from Business Analysts.

• Create and optimize complex stored procedures and SQL queries.
• Engage in unit-testing, deployment, and migration tasks.
• Develop Restful APIs and integrate them with diverse systems.
• Innovate solutions to address the company's technical requirements.
• Modernize the development, deployment, and maintenance of digital applications and services.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Hold a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in PHP full stack development, with expertise in either CodeIgniter or Laravel.
• Demonstrate proficiency in web application architecture.
• Have experience with MSSQL database and TSQL, along with a strong understanding of relational databases.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts and MVC designs.
• Proficient in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Experience working with Web APIs, focusing on security and versioning.
• Exhibit advanced SQL scripting skills essential for the role.
