Responsibilities

Design and Document Preparation:

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and web services.
• Understanding of web application architecture, stateless architecture, and design patterns.
• Familiarity with asynchronous operations or message/event-driven architectures is a plus.
• PMP and/or CISSP certifications, OpenJS, Kafka, and/or Scrum certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Strategy: Define test objectives, criteria, and priorities based on software requirements and business goals.
• Test Execution: Execute hands-on testing, including manual and automated testing, to verify software functionality, performance, and security.
• Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Defect Management: Establish and maintain a defect-tracking system and ensure defects are documented, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Test Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Requirements:

• Min. 3-4 years' experience as a Software Test Engineer, with a focus on automation and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proficient in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Typescript, Svelte, Golang).
• Extensive experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Testify, Selenium).
• ISTQB certified tester or similar certification is a good bonus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
