Job Description
- Collaborate with project engineer and quality team to design, develop, implement and deploy test processes for new projects.
- Complete test programs for production and manage test programs and control:
- Continuity Test
- 4-Wire Continuity Test
- Functional/Final Test
- Support instrumentation needs including:
- Work with engineers and technicians in development of headers
- Testing jigs
- Develop Acceptance Test Plan per product requirements.
- Develop and document testing procedures per product requirements.
- Engage in both sustaining and NPI support activities
- Identify necessary enhancements to diagnostics deployed in manufacturing and works with quality teams to drive corrective action.
- Ensure headers have sufficient quantity to support the production needs.
- Engage in both sustaining and NPI support activities.
- Perform root cause analysis for any testing related failures.
- Perform other duties/projects as required or assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Electrical testing, Manufacturing, or similar roles.
- Strong background in testing principles, header & test jig development and processes.
- Design best-in-class performance testing approaches and plans for new projects per customer requirements.
- Must be well versed in electrical know how.
- Able to work well with inter-teams.
- Well versed in CIRIS tester will be an added advantage.
