What you’ll do:
In this role, you will be joining the Resuscitation pillar of our organisation, specifically in the Save-A-Life (SAL) department.
In this department, you ensure that if someone who suffers a cardiac arrest has a higher chance of survival because of your work in checking and registering AEDs (Automated External Defibrillator).
In your role, you will also be able to use your influence and CPR+AED skills to engage members of public through roadshows and promote the myResponder app to build a Nation of Lifesavers.
Responsibilities:
· Arranging with building owners & facilities management for site inspection
· Locate public Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to be registered in the AED registry
· Perform public AEDs verification & annual audit
· Updating of AED records & other administrative tasks and adhoc duties as assigned
· Assist with events/roadshows to promote the myResponder app
· Sharing knowledge with the public about CPR+AED
· Any ad-hoc projects / duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
· Diploma or Degree.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
· Resourceful, flexible and responsive in dealing with people
· Initiative, eye for detail and a team player
· Willing to travel island-wide
· Prior experience in enforcement will be advantageous
What we’d prefer you bring:
· Possess good organizing and planning skills
· Valid CPR+AED Instructor certification
