Social Media Operations Specialist

(4-5 months maternity cover)

As the social media Operations Specialist, you will help build and execute the social media strategy, initiatives, and projects for the world's largest technology company. Working with the Local and Regional Program Manager, you will support all things social — from always-on content and social-led campaigns to influencer activations and event amplification — by leading the day-to-day operations as well as content development and community management for the brand channels. As a social media strategist, project manager and community manager, you will wear many hats. Thus, the ability to analyze trends and situations quickly and pivot effectively is as critical to this role as deep audience understanding to build long-term strategies and plans.

Role:

• Support social marketing activities for the Singapore market, both always-on content, community management and campaigns
• Working closely with and partnering Program Manager, lead social media content strategy, and development, including editorial calendar, copy review and publishing for the Singapore markets
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and agencies to source assets, including images, videos, copy and design
• Be the filter for the Singapore market, ensuring regional programs are optimised for the local market
• Build and manage strong relationships with Creators in Singapore throughout various verticals to increase authentic advocacy and brand love
• Support the Program Manager in performance reporting, social media audits and competitive analyses

You:

• Degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing preferred, or equivalent industry experience
• 7+ years of experience in tech, marketing or related industry
• A passion for social media and content development
• Ability to communicate effectively – in written and verbal forms – in English
• A strategic and creative thinker who is able to navigate around an always-on social landscape
• Solid project management experience
• Proficient understanding of social media analytics
• Experience with a social media publishing tool like Sprinklr
• Ability to bring order and attention to detail to complex stages of each project
• Prior experience with communicating with local and geographically dispersed stakeholders to deliver clear instructions and messaging
• Passionate about working as part of a larger team to deliver a common goal

• Manage and steer suppliers (e.g. instructors, fleet management, facility management, simulator experience) according to clearly defined processes and up to the highest standards to guarantee a smooth operation of the upcoming Porsche Experience Centre (PEC) in Singapore
• Develop and implement detailed operations guidelines including all relevant processes for the daily operations
• Take initiative to improve operational processes and plans consistently, and measure the success of the various experience formats for continuous optimisation in regard to quality, efficiency and financial KPIs
• Manage the PEC car pool and work closely with the enclosed Service department (workshop) to ensure a safe and efficient usage of each car
• Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to promote an integrated cross-departmental working culture and cross-functional support, and continuously assess any rising needs and plan measures accordingly
• Liaise with Porsche AG and other PECs around the world to exchange best practices and top keep innovating the experience offer at the PEC Singapore

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, leisure event management, business administration or related disciplines
• Minimum 5+ years relevant working experience in automotive, event planning or related business area
• Well-established project management skills, and aptitude for managing multiple suppliers simultaneously
• Highly motivated team player with a customer focused mindset, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail with a solution-oriented attitude
• Willingness to work in a multicultural environment and to work on weekends
• Fluency in written and spoken English, any additional regional language skills is advantageous
• Racing licence and/or ‘Porsche Certified Instructor’ certification is a plus
