The Assistant Manager/Manager is part of the dynamic Membership Operations and Services (MOS) team responsible for day-to-day membership operations and relations.

The main duties of the Team include the invoicing and collection of membership subscription fees, recovery of arrears from members, processing membership exemption applications and tracking exemption cases, promoting associate membership and processing applications, managing enquiries from members via hotline and email as well as from internal colleagues and external agencies on membership-related matters, and managing and updating members’ database.

The MOS Team also organises members’ orientation and annual general meeting as well as partner with government agencies and other relevant stakeholders to conduct outreach briefings for members.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop marketing plans and collaterals for promotion of associate membership to companies and Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs).
• Initiate membership promotion efforts, coordinate marketing activities, handle enquiries, and monitor effectiveness of marketing outreach exercises.
• Process and review new applications for Associate membership including follow up with companies, invoicing and onboarding of new members.
• Process and review applications for membership exemption and track exemption cases.
• Manage internal and external enquiries on membership matters.
• Manage updating of members’ records and engagements in the membership database system.
• Organise members onboarding and outreach events such as orientation, networking and webinars.
• Any other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong organisational skills and detail oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to be flexible.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) including ability to engage diplomatically and effectively with members and different stakeholders.
• Resourceful and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially in Excel, PowerPoint and Word and any other relevant tools such as Canva, etc.

This incumbent is responsible for day-to-day fleet operations, as well as ensuring smooth drivers’ deployment and to meet customers’ requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Managing the waste collection operations.
• Planning & managing a fleet of trucks and manpower for the daily operations - from attendance, maintenance, servicing, deployment till execution.
• Liaising with Sales on new contracts' deployment and execution of contract obligations with updated route plans.
• Maintaining and updating Safe Work Procedure, Risk Assessment and Workplace Health & Safety standards of the company.
• Ensuring all drivers observe site and public area safety rules: Enforce the wearing of correct uniform and personal protective equipment.
• Ensuring incidents, accidents and close calls are reported and notified in line with the company's procedures.
• Maintaining and updating route plans and monthly reporting of fleet management KPIs.
• Handle all cashcard related matters for drivers (eg: top up, replacement etc.)
• Any other operational duties that are deemed necessary.

Job Requirements

• Possess at least a Nitec / Diploma in any field.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experiences. Candidates with working experience in the waste management, facility services and logistics industry will be an advantages.
• Class 3 & 4 License will be an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications.

The role of the Hotel Operations Manager at KINN is pivotal in upholding the company's policies and philosophies, ensuring the financial health of each hotel, and maintaining the overall operational excellence of the three properties.

This position involves promoting KINN's values to team members and guests, overseeing financial performance, conducting regular site visits, staff management, and fostering a culture of guest satisfaction.

The Operations Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of KINN's hotels.

1. Promote KINN’s Policies and Philosophies

• Engage in direct and indirect interactions with team members and guests to promote KINN's policies and philosophies, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

2. Financial Oversight

• Review monthly financial performance for each hotel, including the approval of monthly operating expenses.
• Review and approve OTA (Online Travel Agency) commissions.
• Monitor and control CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) costs.

3. Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) results for each individual hotel.
• Share P&L results with Resident Managers to ensure transparency in financial expenses.

4. Site Visits and Maintenance

• Conduct weekly site visits to hotels, performing walkthroughs of both the Front and Back of the house areas.
• Ensure that hotel conditions are safe and clean at all times, addressing any concerns promptly

5. Staff Management

• Conduct interviews for all new hires, specifically approving hires for Front Office and Housekeeping Associates.
• Approve Annual Leave, Sick Leave, and Off In Lieu requests through the Payday system for hotel operations team members.
• Provide counselling and support to team members and liaise with HR on disciplinary actions and record keeping.

6. Communication and Collaboration

• Conduct monthly updates with Resident Managers regarding events, happenings, and scorecards to keep them informed and aligned.
• Collaborate closely with Resident Managers to enhance guest experiences and address feedback based on monthly guest satisfaction results from various channels.

7. Supply Chain Management

• Approve hotel material orders necessary for daily operations.
• Review all monthly invoices from suppliers and vendors, ensuring accuracy and approving them for payment.
• Liaise with the Finance Team to facilitate timely processing of payments.
• Any other duties delegated by Head of Hotel Operations & Project Development.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Hospitality, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Front Office Manager or Room Division Manager.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.
• Strong knowledge in room operations.
• Demonstrated excellence in communication, problem-solving, reasoning, and motivational skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shift schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
