Requirements

• At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in Treasury Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle and process full spectrum of Trade Finance transactions (Import /Export LC, Collection, Commodity Trade Finance, Invoice Financing, Trade Loans, BG, SBLC issuance).
• Review the LC workability and matching of terms and conditions for Back-to-Back LC issuance.
• Perform document checking independently for Import and Export as per LC terms and adhered to UCP rules and International Standard Banking Practices.
• Handle all settlements /preparation of all payments, disbursement of proceeds independently (MT103 /MT202)
• Perform TBML screening, identifying irregularities and red flags shown in documents for further escalation and approval.
• Monitor and follow through all trade finance related transactions from end to end.
• Ensure all transactions and tasks assigned are carried out are in accordance with the operating and compliance procedures.
• Ensure smooth processing day-to-day trade finance transactions within the stipulated Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Ensure daily funds reporting are accurate and timely to Treasury.
• Investigate on unreconciled transactions
• To participate in launching of new trade finance products, prepare and participate in UAT activities for system implementation/enhancement/migration activities.
• Liaise and collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders, including IT, Corporate Banking Department, Legal and Compliance Department, Risk and Control Department, Treasury to ensure smooth facilitation of transaction.
• To review P&P annually and to involve in process improvement where applicable.
• Ensure any others assigned operations duties by supervisor are duly performed.
• To back up other team such as remittance and Corporate Banking Loans operations in case of needs.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience handling trade finance operations within the banking industry.
• Familiar with Structure Trade and/or Commodity Trade Financing, BG and SBLC issuance.
• Possess good trade finance knowledge. CDCS qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to learn Deposit, Corporate Banking Loans and remittance will be preferred.
• Proficient in both English and Mandarin language to liaise with internal and external Chinese stakeholders.

The primary role of the Manager / Assistant Manager, Operations is to provide support to the General Manager and any other persons or companies assigned, in a professional and timely manner.

Job Responsibilities

• Define types and scale of the projects, propose a suitable venue, and develop event layout and seating plans
• Maintain good relationship with all stakeholders and source for new stakeholders when required
• Liaise and negotiate with all stakeholders, balancing cost efficiency and optimum performance for the events
• Create and propose profit and loss budget for different project profiles
• Oversee and develop operation plans from the start to the end of the events, including contingency and risk management plans
• Coordinate with vendors such as transportation, accommodation, production, ticketing agent and venue to ensure adherence to event plans, budget and ensuring everything runs smoothly and accurately
• Oversee and manage event expenditure within events budget, liaise with finance on invoicing and payment matters to ensure timely settlement
• Manage and liaise with artiste management on the requirements for the events
• Manage all escalated customer enquiries, requests and feedback promptly and professionally
• Comply with various event’s policies and procedures to ensure that they are within government rules and regulations
• Manage a team of 3-4 members in the operation department and tasking them to different projects
• Evaluate latest technology trends that can be leveraged to spur innovation in events and customer experience
• Recommend measures to improve processes, always strive to do better and adopt best practices
• Resolve all project issues and deviations to ensure that projects are executed as planned
• Review project deliverables to ensure that they adhere to event plans
• Explore and manage all other projects within the team such as exhibition, merchandise and customer experience programs
• Support ad hoc projects as directed by the General Manager

Job Requirements

• Possess at least a Diploma with specialization in Events Management, Mass Communication or Project Management preferred
• Preferably at least 4 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in the field of Events, Entertainment or Exhibition
• Strong interest in the music/entertainment or exhibition industry and possess great knowledge in music trends
• Great attention to detail, is highly responsible and takes pride and ownership in work done
• Excellent people managing skills
• Highly independent and resourceful team player with impeccable integrity
• Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal, quick problem-solving, time management, and planning and organisational skills
• Able to multitask, work well in a diverse and dynamic environment and under pressure during events
• Fluent in written and spoken English; other language proficiency such as Mandarin/ Korean/ Cantonese is a plus given that you will be interacting with artiste and team who are from other countries and might only speak comfortably in their native language
• Comfortable and have readiness to work longer and irregular hours including weekends during event period

PURPOSE

To perform/review user acceptance testing for newly developed product or product/system enhancement and assisting in administrative duties.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Participate in and sign off test case reviews and user acceptance testing.
• Work closely with stakeholders on allocated Projects/Change requests.
• Ensure that systems are tested thoroughly and comply with the requirements defined in Business Requirement Specifications / Functional Specifications.
• Ensure test results are documented properly.
• Perform customer due diligence checks for Direct-To-Customer business & new customer onboarding at policy servicing.
• Provide administrative support to policy servicing such as handling of physical mails, scanning and perform forms updates.
• Ad-hoc tasks/duties as assigned by the manager.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• At least A level or diploma holders
• IT Savvy
• Positive work attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Self-motivated with critical attention to deadlines and reporting.
• Should have an aptitude for testing with keen eye for detail.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY

• High degree of proficiency in system and internet applications, Outlook & Internet applications.
• Good understanding of life insurance product.
• Experience in performing user acceptance testing preferred.
• Aptitude for testing with an eye for detail.
• Manual testing, automation testing of any core application, web applications will be good.
• Working knowledge of SQLs and APIs is a plus.
• Proficient in graphic design and/or design software tools is preferred.
• Good understanding of life insurance product is preferred.
