Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for a Conveyancing Paralegal to join us. You will assist to manage conveyancing tasks including purchases, sales, mortgages, refinancing, transfers, leases, powers of attorney, and stamp duties.

Job duties and responsibilities:

• Drafting conveyancing documents and overseeing e-lodgement and e-stamping processes.
• Communicating effectively with financial institutions, banks, and clients to ensure smooth transactions.
• Liaising with government bodies (CPF, SLA, HDB, IRAS) as required.
• Conducting title searches as needed.
• Managing the firm’s conveyancing files from start to end.
• Keeping all financial institution and bank contacts up to date.

Required qualifications:

• Education: Diploma in law (experience is valued more than qualifications)
• Experience: at least 2 years in residential conveyancing with good knowledge of the process.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Organised, meticulous, ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience in eLitigation and STARS eLodgment platforms

ABOUT THE COMPANY

I am working with a leading international law firm to hire for their Singapore office.

They are looking for a Paralegal to join their Finance team which does covers transactional finance and project finance matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide all rounded legal support to the Finance team
• Prepare and draft legal documents, compile bundles
• Conduct legal research as required
• Monitor deadlines, filing and database management
• Any other legal support as assigned.

KEY COMPETENCIES/ SKILL SETS

• Diploma in Law / Legal Studies or Degree in Law
• Ideally, some experience in a transactional practice area
• Highly organised, resourceful, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills
