The Business Process Outsourcing team

Our Business process outsourcing team supports organisations looking to outsource business functions so that they can focus on core competencies, reduce costs and improve efficiencies. The services are categorised into two arms – first specialisation being in financial reporting and the second in payroll.

Our payroll arm led by our partner in Employer Solutions. Spearheaded by friendly and supportive leaders who invest time in the career and development of their people, the members of the team can play an influential role in shaping the team culture and commercial direction. Each individual is trusted with the independence works closely with senior members of the team while also being direction and support.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and provide payroll support
• Prepare and stay updated on relevant developments and changes in statutory and regulatory obligations
• Support clients on queries from government institutions such as CPF Board, IRAS, etc.
• Manage and build client relationships
• Support and coach interns, where applicable

Qualifications and Skills

• Recognised Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related fields.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work with complex and detailed information
• Good writing and communication skills with good knowledge on Microsoft office
• Strong interpersonal skills in building rapport and collaborating effectively with others

Location: Central Singapore (5 months Contract till April 2025)

Reporting to: Financial Controller

Functional relationships: Close working relationship with Talent Manager, Talent Executive, Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Accounts Executive, Accounts Officer.

Main Tasks: Payroll Function

1) Monthly full set payroll including submission of CPF (3 entities with current headcount of about 330);

2) Payroll reports;

3) Support yearly salary review and bonus process;

4) Employee income tax filing - Yearly IR8E / Tax clearance – IR21 5) Filing of Childcare, Maternity, NS, SDL etc claims;

6) Government surveys;

7) Compensation analysis matters and

8) Ad hoc compensation related matters

Accounting Function

1) Corporate card related matters;

2) Review employee claims;

3) Statutory reporting on payroll related items (e.g.: annual leave accrual, bonus accrual, etc); and

4) Ad hoc accounting matters

Qualification

1) Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accountancy with knowledge of human resources regulations is preferred.

System and software knowledge

SAP, TIMES, HR2, SAP SuccessFactors, iManage, Chrome River. Microsoft office - Word, Powerpoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel. Excel is a must and preferably at the advanced level. We are seeking an experienced SAP payroll consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP payroll processes, with a focus on Singapore payroll

Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement SAP payroll processes in Singapore, ensuring compliance with local regulations and laws.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
3. Configure and customize SAP payroll modules to meet specific business needs, using best practices and industry standards.

Qualifications:

2. Proven experience as an SAP payroll consultant, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Singapore payroll.
3. Strong knowledge of SAP payroll processes, Singapore payroll regulations, and local tax laws.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
5. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Experience with SAP ERP HCM, Payroll, and Time Management modules in S/4HANA.
7. Certification in SAP Payroll is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your job is to provide management/strategy consulting services to companies in Singapore, Japan and ASEAN region.

• Conduct primary, secondary research and competitive analysis (e.g., offerings, market positioning, customers, financial performance, etc.)

Role purpose

To perform actuarial, financial modelling and catastrophe risk analyses to support Miller Singapore in winning, placing and monitoring complex insurance and reinsurance risks in Asia markets.

Role deliverables

• Model the probability distributions of the gross / ceded / net underwriting results of an (re)insurance client.

• Utilise cost / benefit analysis to advice brokers and clients “optimal” reinsurance programs based on risk tolerance levels.

• Model and analyse natural catastrophe exposure for various business streams, when requested, to support Miller’s offering to its clients

Position Overview
