We are looking for a responsible Physician to provide high quality medical care by examining patients and treating diseases. You will undertake tasks aiming for

prevention and promotion of healthy habits. The job is one of the most demanding, but also most rewarding professions. A great physician is a highly qualified professional and a compassionate individual. You must be very knowledgeable in regards to diseases, epidemiology and other medical conditions so you can interpret symptoms and diagnose conditions. The job can be demanding so a great deal of patience and physical endurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine check-ups to patients to assess their health condition and discover possible issues
• Give appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health
• Conduct examinations to ill patients and evaluate symptoms to determine their condition
• Ask intuitive questions to discover causes of illness
• Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history
• Prescribe and interpret lab tests to obtain more information for underlying infections or abnormalities
• Prescribe medications or drugs and provide comprehensive instructions for administration
• Provide TCM treatment services such as acupuncture, cupping and other TCM treatment services
• Collaborate with other physicians, physician assistants and nurses to form a high performing medical team
• Examine and provide treatments to injuries and refer patients to other physicians when needed (ophthalmologists, orthopedists, neurologists etc.)
• Keep records of patients’ diseases, operations or other significant information (e.g. allergic episodes)
• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients
• Remain up-to-speed with developments and best practices in medicine by attending conferences and seminars
• Work closely with branch manager to manage customer relations and form long-term partnership as our customers TCM provider of choice.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience as a physician

Job Requirements:

• Min 1 year experience in Singapore

• Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner with TCMPB
• Proven experience as a physician

As a Resident Physician at Ang Mo Kio - Thye Hua Kwan Hospital (AMK-THKH), you will be a part of a dedicated team of Medical Doctors, Nurses, Therapists, and Medical Social Workers, and work under the supervision of senior doctors to provide first-line clinical coverage to patients admitted to our community hospital for rehabilitation or subacute care.

Responsibilities :

• Conducting ward rounds and handling acute medical issues
• Clerking new patients and preparing discharge summaries
• Performing ward procedures and staying on-call during night shifts
• Involving in Quality improvement projects
• Participate in patient care conferences, unplanned discharge rounds, mortality and morbidity rounds, and multidisciplinary rounds

Requirements :

• A medical degree recognised by Singapore Medical Council (SMC)

• Possess at least 3 years of post-housemanship working experience as a Medical Officer (or equivalent)

The Resident Physician of Home Healthcare Team will manage the clients' acute and chronic medical conditions through regular home visits and telehealth service.

• Provide medical consultation through regular home visits or telehealth service
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop holistic care plans for clients and optimize their medical conditions and functional status
• Engage clients and/ or next-of-kin to develop a care plan that is aligned with the clients’ preferences and goals of care
• Perform bedside procedures such as venipuncture, urinary catheterization, and management of simple tubes and drains
• Titrate and prescribe medication for the clients
• Assist with referral to other internal services eg Home Nursing or Home therapy or external social services if required
• Ensure accurate documentation of medical records
• Provide medical reports, memos, referrals if required
• Attend continuing medical education (CME) teaching sessions and workshops/conferences to keep abreast of medical knowledge
• Provide teaching to Family Medicine residents if required

Requirements:

• Possess a basic medical degree or postgraduate qualification that is registrable with the Singapore Medical Council
