Since the expansion of iQIYI’s international business in 2019, our C-contents and local Originals are capturing the attentions of global audiences and media. We are now searching for our International PR & Events Lead – based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Working alongside our key markets’ marketing teams to champion the iQIYI brand and content titles across the region;
• Strategic management of our team’s flagship PR and Event campaigns, gathering cross-departmental support and coordinating budgets/manpower/logistics to compose and deliver impactful media releases, and to host and organise media and artist events.
• Maintain relationships with influential media and organisations across the region and manage regular engagement across our announcements and campaigns.
• Management of artists and producers communications and opportunities to engage press around them and local productions.
• Coordination of our internal communications priorities, from executive outreach and staff engagement opportunities, to capturing the stories behind our technology, our content development and production that attracts media and inspire audiences.
• Coordinating product communications for the region and serving as the regional point person for commerce-related communications opportunities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in communications, media, journalism, and/ or agency; events organisation and promotion;
• Deep knowledge and experience in the entertainment industry;
• Direct experience in publicity and/or talent relations;
• Experience pitching and crafting stories with social media editors, digital editors, and or online influencers;
• Must be fluent in both Mandarin and English.
• Strong network of media press and influencer relations.

The Role

Digital PR Interns play a key role in our performance campaigns, collaborating closely with our content and marketing teams to create brilliant work for clients while enhancing their online presence and building press mentions.

You support all aspects of the PR lifecycle from pitch through to delivery, with a primary responsibility of developing and implementing reactive digital PR campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

1. Take part in content research and ideation of campaigns, helping to generate content that engages, sparks debate, and is newsworthy enough to be featured on high-quality publications. If you’re brilliant at headlines and angles, you’ll fit right in!
2. Leverage trending events to achieve maximum PR impact on campaigns
3. Use a range of tools and sources to collect data and audience insights to form the foundation of ideas for creative digital PR campaigns and strategy
4. Execute the production of Digital PR campaigns – including working with creative teams, and outreaching to journalists
5. Execute tailored outreach strategies, pitches, write press releases and find outreach opportunities that will get journalists interested in your content

Requirements (What It Takes)

• Basic knowledge of Digital PR
• Experience in creating engaging and entertaining outreach campaigns using data and content
• Have experience in supporting a Digital PR campaign
• A strong understanding of the fundamentals of PR and SEO and how they integrate
• Able to learn fast and adapt to the dynamic world of Digital PR
• An excellent command of the English language, both written and verbally
• The ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
• Passion in PR, journalism, marketing, advertising or similar

Key Responsibilities:

• To increase awareness of iQIYI awareness with our content in creative and innovative ways.
• To create, implement and manage PR content for media pitching.
• To identify and liaise with influential media on PR campaigns.
• Assist in multi-channel PR strategies and partnerships.
• Collaborate across local and global teams to ensure smooth work flow.
• Support the Regional PR team in creating and curating PR content for various campaigns.

Requirements:

• Strong interest in Asian entertainment especially Chinese Dramas, Filmes and Variety Shows.
• Famliar with traditional and new news media including but not limited to TV/Radio, websites, publications, news personalities and its social media platforms.
• Proficient in creating engaging content for PR pitches leveraging multi-media materials.
• Basic design skills & video editing skills (Photoshop & Premiere Pro).
• Strong command of both English and Chinese to communicate with global teams.
• Able to work at least 4 days a week, 4 months or longer.
