• Perform the actual product assembly and perform quality control testing and inspection of the actual product assembly

• Work with the Engineering and Technical Team on fabrication of valves which includes the use of hand tools and power tools.

• Work with Engineering and Technical Team during maintenance of valve on site

• Assist in overseeing and performing installation, servicing, repair or maintenance of products on-site and off-site.

• Participate in site meetings and activities whenever required by the Engineering and Technical Team.

• Responsible for preparing technical reports.

• Support the engineer in working with the Business Development and Sales Team for projects and tenders in understanding, interpreting, and preparing tender and relevant documents (i.e., tender specifications and drawings).

• Create product drawings (i.e., isometric, orthographic, dimensioning, sectioning, assembly, cross-sectional views… etc.) when required.

This position is similar in nature to a business analyst but for advancing the use of data for teaching and learning purposes. The position is critical for developing a communication plan to get faculty and students buy-in on the learning analytics goals of the university. He or she would also be responsible for gathering faculty, students and schools’ teaching and learning needs, and translating the needs into meaningful learning analytics solutions.

He or she would be working with the director and the data scientists to enhance data literacy of faculty and students. In addition, he or she is expected to support the administration of key systems such as Denodo and Dataiku in compliance with the data and AI governance policy of the university.
