Reporting to the Replenishment team Goods Flow Team Manager, the Process Leader will coordinate and optimise operations to ensure all products are replenished in the store. This will result in agreed product availability for IKEA customers and the correct quality of the goods flow process in the store at the lowest possible cost.

Your assignment

• Implement agreed logistics actions stated by the store business plan into the goods flow process, track and monitor the assigned KPIs.
• Lead the team in replenishment operations through planning and directing.
• Influence positively the quality of products, merchandising and customer shopping experience in the floor.
• Create optimal product availability by coordinating with Sales department and taking care of the sales space management process
• Ensure efficient daily replenishment operations accordingly to the Global Service Protocol and secure that the work of good flow team complies with the IKEA code of conduct, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation relating to health, safety and security and environment.
• Coordinates daily stock counting to ensure optimal inventory accuracy
• Support replenishment team co-workers’ competence development by sharing own knowledge of effective and efficient goods flow processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Forecasts financial, manpower, and operational requirements for key businesses (start up, warranty, service agreements, paid service). Identifies and pursues service agreement business in conjunction with marketing and sales.
2. Manages start ups in terms of time and cost requirements. Manages local inventories and RMA procedure. Maintains DSO according to goal. Manages systems start up and warranty cost under reserve.
3. Ensures customer satisfaction with Company service and system performance.
4. Interviews, hires, and trains customer engineers as necessary to support regional business.

5. Ensures employee satisfaction through:

   - communication of business progress and all related action.

   - setting goals and controlling achievements.

   - establishing training and career development plans.

   Ensures the appropriate safety practices among customer engineers. Develop CE skills. Spots and develops managerial/other specialist talent. Ensures employee satisfaction through:

6. Escalates system downs according to valid escalation procedure, to ensure earliest possible return to service. Reports in a timely and accurate manner as required.

7. Achieves guaranteed up time and other parameters as sold to customers.

   - reduce cycle time

   - empower the work force

Overview & Responsibilities

The Process Improvement Manager at the direction of management, is responsible for selecting current products, components or processes to be analyzed and evaluated, with the purpose of establishing efficient and cost-effective processes that ensure the production of high-quality products and services. The activities shall consider all aspects of the design and production of products and services.
The Process Improvement Manager will be responsible for the evaluation process, justification of improvements, and implementation plans, as well as facilitating activities to integrate improvements into the business. The current processes will be thoroughly reviewed, improved, documented, and implemented. To improve key performance objectives such as costs, on-time deliveries, cost of quality, and safety, the position must take a leadership role in identifying, planning, coordinating, implementing, monitoring, and auditing processes across all functional areas, suppliers, and customers. Additionally, the position must support the rollout of new established procedures and work instructions into new satellite operations to further improve delivery, quality, and cost reduction.

This is a position supports all aspects of the Global Services product lines coordinating identified process improvement opportunities through the direction and prioritization of Regional Management.
1. Analyzing current products/services, components or processes to identify opportunity for improvement. Furthermore, this position will lead in performance enhancing efforts on cost savings/value analysis, delivery and quality issues. A principle objective of this position will be to help deploy current business strategies, integrate business processes and best practice sharing and set the future direction of continuous improvement efforts throughout operations and supporting functions.
2. Develop improvement plans that can be effectively implemented into the business.
3. Working in a cross functional team environment, being persuasive and convincing to others to gain buy in and support for activities.
