Team Summary
The Global Clients team exists to support Visa’s key clients to provide world class support to our clients globally and across our regions. The position will work closely with both a core and cross-functional team of internal partners, regionally and globally, and will work closely with client executives to create value for both organizations.
The team is responsible for driving growth and new business opportunities with Visa’s key global Fintech clients. They are at the forefront of payments innovation and our team ensures Visa supports their ambitions, whether launching a new product or expanding into new geographies.
What a Director, Global Clients does at Visa:
The Director role is responsible for managing clients, developing and executing account plans and sales strategies to increase revenue from existing and new businesses. This Director will actively identify new revenue opportunities, manage current contractual obligations, and ensure clients are equipped with the best and most relevant Visa products and services.
- Lead and manage client relationships by providing dedicated support
- Build, solidify, and foster strong client relationships across their wide range of business functions
- Proactively identify, develop and execute on opportunities, manage sales pipelines, and work with relevant stakeholders to mutually grow client and Visa business
- Coordinate and drive a collaborative and focused effort including business development, account executive and solutions specialists. Work collaboratively with other teams in Visa, such as product management and client services teams, to ensure that customer objectives are met and that regional financial targets for spend and revenue are achieved.
- Deliver disciplined account planning to meet and exceed identified goals and implement strategic initiatives
- Collaborate closely with market teams to align on goals and key initiatives, providing necessary support
- Analyze sales and performance data to measure success and identify areas for improvement
- Support the deployment of shared investment funds globally and locally, in accordance with the funds mandated purpose. Provide and follow robust governance for fund deployment, secure funds allocation to the best possible business opportunities.
