Position Title

Sales Executive (SIN)

Reports To

Country Manager Singapore / Philippines

Key Accountability

• To assist in all sales activities and provide personalized service to travel agents e.g., 80 agents and execute strategies to meet the targeted revenue.
• To prepare sales presentations, proposals and other documents regarding products and promotions prepared by Revenue Management and sell to travel agents and prospective clients including product briefings conduction.
• To monitor the sales performance of travel agents, by providing service and support related to FIT (Free Independent Traveller) and groups movement
• To participate actively in travel trade and consumer fairs.
• To monitor market trends and collect insights regarding OALs (Other Airlines) strategy and analyse sales data from Business Intelligence and perform quarterly review with all account coverage.
• To be liaison between Travel Trade and relevant Malaysia Airlines Business Unit (revenue management, airport operation and customer service) in resolving problems arise from daily operation.
• To develop and strengthen networking with the key decision makers within the Travel Agencies, including organizing MH related events and activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field..
• Degree - minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, with a focus on the corporate sector in Singapore.
• Diploma - minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on the corporate sector in Singapore.

Area of Experience

• Strong understanding of the Singapore Airlines and Tourism market and corporate sector, including business culture, regulatory environment, and market trends.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales pipeline.
• Airlines/Tourism sales experience is a must

Job Description:

• Received enquiry from Sales or direct customer and forward to Planner with cargo details.
• Received rates from Planner, forward to Sales and follow cargo status.
• Create JOB in Cargoware for cargo details, shipper requirements and request Planner to proceed booking with quotation email.
• Provide booking confirmation to customer or Sales once received Planner.
• Manage HAWB process in Cargoware and activate service provider - Declarator for Export permit declaration.
• Monitor shipment status of uplift, arrival and any irregularity.
• Received inbound pre-alert from customer. Activate service provider - Declarator for Import permit and liaise with OPS for terminal clearance, breakdown or delivery (if any).
• AR process and ensure receipt payment from customers within granted period.
• Others - Source prices or solutions for businesses do not transit via SG if any enquiry from Sales through WCA network.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum Diploma with 1-3 years of customer service and relevant experience

• Proven experience in air freight industy or logistic firm will be a plus point.

• Strong negotiation skills and experience in finding new customer.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Strategic Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively thinking and problem-solving abilities focus on driving results and delivering value.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with logistics management software is a plus.

1. Develop sales and marketing plans to acquire new B2B & B2C customers and drive collaboration with partners through emailing and cold calling.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma in Marketing or Business Information Technology (BIT) or E-commerce is required with 2 years of prior sale experience. Or Degree in Marketing with 2 years in sale and marketing field.
2. Experience in communicating and presenting to Senior Management Team.
3. Interest in Sales, Technology and Digital solutions.
4. Deep understanding of negotiating techniques and marketing tactics.
5. Knowledge of MS Excel mainly for reporting and documentation.
6. Knowledge of CRM or sales management software is an added advantage.
7. Knowledge of the industrial textile and hardware trading industry will be advantageous.
