As the Procurement Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement process, ensuring cost-effective purchasing of all goods and services required for the company’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company’s goals, ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery of products/services.
• Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
• Cost Control: Continuously monitor market trends and analyze data to identify opportunities for cost-saving and improve efficiency.
• Vendor Selection & Evaluation: Lead the vendor selection process and evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery times, and pricing.
• Experience: At least 5-7 years of procurement experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably within a large organization.
• Skills:Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
  Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies that drive cost savings and efficiency.
  

Job Description

• Responsible for preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedure through stock replenishment to make sure sufficient stock level.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on time delivery with good quality, packaging and loading requirement.
• Handling and monitoring of claims to vendors for defectives, shortage andpackaging issues.
• In charge of pricing AIP Formwork Inquiry / New product or customer inquiry.
• Executing and monitoring Malaysia and Local Purchase Order.
• Arrange delivery to Customer/ Warehouse SG to Warehouse JB or vice versa.
• Responsible to source and develop new suppliers, negotiate right price for localorders.
• Undertake other Ad-hoc assignments as required.

Job Requirement

• Min. NITEC, Secondary School GCE “O” Level or relevant industry.
• Min. 2 years of purchasing experience or in the related field.
• Posses good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to independently, make decisions and solve problems.
• Able to handle multi-tasking and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Preference manage oversea shipment experience.

• Source and liaise with new or current supplier in purchasing operation
• Supplier Document & Material Submission
• Cost Reference Update (to ensure Price Database is updated to Market’s standards)
• Attend meeting, visit sites and communication with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
• Procure as required by project which include preparation of specifications, negotiating prices & services, checking samples, placing orders as per project team’s requirement and processing invoices
• Keep accurate records of items, costs, deliveries and inventory
• Analyse proposals and financial reports to determine reasonable prices
• Negotiate pricing, lead time & contract terms with suppliers

• Negotiate local handling charges with forwarders/hauliers
• Arrange shipments / clearance
• Prepare and check LC Documents issuance to suppliers and banks
• Check all packing lists, cross referring to Purchase Orders and drawings to ensure accuracy of material receipt
• Liaise with Finance Department on Accounts Payable
• Support Contracts Department on Tendering Stage
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job summary:

A Procurement Analyst focuses on forecasting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to an organization's procurement activities. They provide insights, recommendations, and reports to support informed decision-making and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement function.

Key responsibilities:

1. Demand Forecasting:

- Analyze customer purchasing patterns based on past 6 months data from sales team and e-commerce platform.

- Predict and align goods supply with demand to mitigate both understock and overstock issues.

- Strategically plan resource allocation based on demand forecasts.

2. Data Analysis and Management:

- Expertly analyze quantitative data to derive valuable insights.

- Break down complex issues into manageable components for logical problem-solving.

3. Vendor Management:

- Procure goods from established local and international vendors.

- Ensure timely delivery by closely monitoring and coordinating with suppliers.

4. Inventory and Reporting:

- Maintain comprehensive records, pricing lists, and purchasing reports.

- Utilize Excel tools such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP for efficient inventory management.

5. Coordination and Communication:

- Facilitate seamless communication with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners.

- Manage end-to-end ordering processes, ensuring smooth operations.

Qualifications:

- Min. Diploma/Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field.

- Proven experience in procurement, data analysis, or a related field.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUP).

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Detail-oriented and able to work with large datasets.

- Strong problem-solving, critical, and logical thinking abilities.
