As Procurement Coordinator, Technical, you will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing the punctual and cost-effective sourcing of all essential supplies, consumables, and spare parts for our owned and operated vessels. Here’s what you’ll do:

Ensure Vessels’ Stores, Consumables and Spares requirements are met through:

• Evaluate and process requisitions raised by vessels
• Manage the RFQ process (including Quote Comparison & negotiating best prices or service), secure approvals for and award Purchase Orders to identified vendors
• Expedite readiness of critical items and resolve any potential disputes arising as part of service delivery
• Co-ordinate with suppliers and port agent to ensure timely delivery of goods onboard the vessels at convenient ports worldwide.

Support the strategic procurement of Stores, Consumables and Spares/ Contract Management by:

• Participate in identifying partner vendors for framework agreements
• Assist in the management of Framework Agreements (including the tender process and post-tender contract management, if necessary)
• Support the development of matrices to evaluate vendor/supplier performance
• Assist in monitoring vendor/supplier performance.

Maintenance of Fleet documentations including but not limited to:

Main objective of the position

In this role, the POSM Procurement Specialist will be part of a vibrant LVMH Fragrances & Cosmetics Singapore Logistics Team who is responsible for the success of the downstream supply chain. We’re looking for a highly driven and motivated Marketing Intern - Brand Media & Procurement (APAC) to join our growing regional team based in Singapore, foodpanda’s Asia HQ. The successful candidate will work with the regional Brand Media Team to support multiple channels with a big spectrum of responsibilities related to Marketing Ops that will directly impact strategies and campaigns for the foodpanda brand across the region.

Responsibilities:

• Be part of the Regional Marketing Team to support 11 countries across APAC to meet business and growth KPIs
• Get a well rounded knowledge and understanding of multiple channels: Trade Marketing, Merchandise and Rider Marketing
• Work with key business stakeholders in both APAC & country teams to understand how channels are activated in each market, supporting in the complex process of regional planning and sourcing end to end
• Work on building hygiene processes, performance review templates, quarterly country sharing decks and adhoc / recurring tasks 
• Assist the team with preparation of materials for business updates on performance for APAC region including the implementation of best practices
• Be a steward of good data practices - robust documentation, versioning, playbooking, processes, and knowledge sharing

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities:-

• Review of documents prior to publication of quotation/tender (ITQ/ITT)

• Review and provide feedback on Quotation & Tender Evaluation Reports  

• Review and approval of awards

• Assist with stakeholders’ queries

• Review of procurement work processes for compliance and improving efficacy

• Supervise and guide colleagues in the procurement team

• Conduct training sessions for Schools and Departments

• Involvement in procurement development projects to enhance procurement process efficacy Identify opportunities for process improvements

• Any other procurement related functions and initiatives

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:-

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in public procurement

• Possess good analytical and problem solving skills to address cross functional work issues

• Good verbal and written communication

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint

• Hands on experience with procurement platform, GeBIZ, and Cumulus (Workday) system will be added advantage

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.

The AVP Group Indirect and Capex Procurement acts as the executive for Food Group's indirect and Capex spends, collaborating with the FVP Procurement Director to formulate and execute the 3rd party Global Sourcing and risk management strategy for this category. Additionally, the AVP Indirect Procurement is responsible for strategic initiatives within an assigned portfolio of indirect sourcing categories which includes developing category strategies, identifying cost-saving opportunities, leading sourcing projects, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining relationships.

Key responsibilities:

• Spearheading sourcing of a portfolio of indirect categories.
• Developing category strategies, including market and industry analysis.

[What you will be working on]

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

As part of an inter-agency office, you will be exposed to a diverse range of work and have the opportunity to work with various internal (government agencies, such as EDB, MinLaw, MOF, MAS, EnterpriseSG, ACRA, etc) and external (firms) stakeholders. At PSPO, you will be immersed in a fast-paced work environment, and are expected to be resourceful and independent in undertaking the following types of work: 
a)    Industry engagement & strategy development. Develop the house view and/or industry strategy playbook for the specific growth area(s), which can be at the professional services sector-level or sub-sector level (e.g. legal). Depending on the growth area, your work may involve: consulting with various internal and external stakeholders to elicit feedback and suggestions, conducting gap and data analysis, and using that to inform government interventions that may be required to address the gaps. 

b)    Securing mindshare through presentations. You may be required to present your research, analysis and recommendations at various governmental platforms to secure mindshare from senior management, and/or at external platforms where necessary. You may also be required to work with the relevant government agencies to translate such strategy into downstream initiatives and action. In addition, there will be opportunity to partner and co-develop industry-level solutions with industry and/or other government agency stakeholders to address transformation and capability development needs of the professional services sectors.

c)    Support for events and meetings attended by senior management / political office holders. You will have the opportunity to support specific events attended by senior management or POHs that are relevant to PSPO’s work. 
The PSPO team is based in the EDB office, and the team undertakes a hybrid work model.

[What we are looking for]

• At least 5 years of working experience in the professional services sector or held roles involving industry, strategy and policy development

• Strong written and oral communication and analytical skills 

• Ability to conduct in-depth analysis of complex issues and put forth actionable solutions

• Self-starter and positive attitude, excellent work ethic and a team player

• Prior consulting experience and an understanding of the professional and financial services sectors would be an advantage
