We are seeking a highly skilled specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for IT systems and operations to ensure the reliability, security and integrity of our organization's data and systems.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, qualify, and manage contracts with partners, vendors, and technology providers.
- Work with vendors to provide operational support and ensure that they meet the contractual obligations and service-level agreements.
- Oversee IT projects throughout the life cycle, from requirements gathering, crafting of contract specifications and procurement to implementation.
- Drive and oversee resolution of operations and support incidents.
- Set direction for continuous improvement of operational procedures and customer experience.
- Recommend enhancements to improve systems availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of supporting documentation.
- Formulate disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Oversee disaster recovery plan drills and activities to determine if technical criteria is met.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection standards.
- Supervise and mentor a team of IT professionals and foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations for adopting new technologies to improve IT services.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Preferably minimum 10-12 years of design, implementation, and operation experience, with good knowledge in cloud technologies and cloud security solutions, infrastructure and network design, servers and storage and virtualisation.
- Well versed in IT Service Management, Project Management and Vendor Management.
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organisational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture.
- Experience in team leadership.
- Knowledge of IT best practices, security protocols, and compliance standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise with strong sense of urgency.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as a strong team player who is proactive, quality-conscious, and results-oriented.
