Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Product Design & Visualisation Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will collaborate with our product design and visualisation teams to create compelling and high-quality designs that showcase our engineered surfaces. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in design and 3D visualisation in a cutting-edge industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of product concepts and visual presentations for our engineered surfaces.
- Create 3D visualisations, renderings, and prototypes using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Blender).
- Collaborate with the design team to refine product concepts, ensuring they align with brand standards and client requirements.
- Support the creation of marketing materials, presentations, and product brochures.
- Work on client-specific customisation projects and provide design solutions that reflect their vision.
- Assist in the preparation of mood boards, sketches, and material mock-ups for presentations and client meetings.
- Participate in product brainstorming and ideation sessions.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in 3D modelling and visualisation software (AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Keyshot, etc.).
- Basic understanding of design principles, material properties, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and a creative problem-solving approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant design work will be highly regarded.
Duration:
3-6 months (with potential for full-time employment after successful completion)
