About the role

Your responsibilities as a Salvage Engineer

• As part of the mobile team, provide support to the Salvage Master/Project Manager at site.
• When at base, assisting the technical manager and the operations manager in the selection of new salvage equipment and setting up the right maintenance procedures.
• Maintaining company owned salvage equipment.
• Sharing knowledge with other engineers about complex ship's systems.
• Advising the salvage inspector and superintendent about how to break into existing ship's systems in order to use them during the salvage operation.

Your qualities

*Position Overview:*

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine NavCom Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of a wide range of marine navigation and communication systems, including but not limited to MARINE RADAR systems, chartplotters, ECDIS, AIS, VDR, VHF radios, MF/HF SSB, autopilots, and maritime IT equipment. Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of marine navigation and communication systems.
Proficiency in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of MARINE RADAR systems, chartplotters, ECDIS, AIS, VDR, VHF radios, MF/HF SSB, autopilots, maritime IT equipment, and VSAT systems.
