The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the detailed design, programming, and maintenance of electrical systems and controls. Key responsibilities include designing and sizing electrical components, programming PLC/HMI systems, and preparing technical documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out detailed electrical design, including sizing and drawing preparation.
• Develop technical documents, including P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), I/O wiring diagrams, and technical data sheets.
• Program and configure PLC/HMI systems to meet project specifications.
• Perform electrical calculations and select components for ATEX environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare pre-procurement documents and conduct technical evaluations of quotations.
• Provide engineering support for international projects, including troubleshooting and technical assistance.
• Assist in developing project schedules, creating work procedures and method statements, and preparing monthly progress reports.
• Understand hazardous area classifications and select appropriate instruments for hazardous zones (e.g., EX-d, EX-i certifications).

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical design and programming.
• Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming, electrical calculations, and knowledge of ATEX standards.

• Experience with CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, E3, EPLAN).
• Strong knowledge of control theory, electrical circuits, and automation.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC).
• Experience with robotics and motion control systems.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, CAN).
• Experience with simulation software (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
