Project Overview

SMART CAMP (Critical Analytics for Manufacturing Personalized-Medicine) is an interdisciplinary research programme in Singapore (CREATE international research campus and innovation hub) and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). SMART CAMP addresses key technology bottlenecks in cell therapy manufacturing: (i) critical quality attributes (CQA) of safe, effective cell therapy products; and (ii) integrated process analytics to monitor and modulate those attributes. Our efforts are focused on allogeneic and autologous cell therapy products, including but not limited to cell sources including adult stem/progenitor cells and immune cells for treatment of specific cancers, tissue degeneration, and autoimmune diseases.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support interdisciplinary projects focused on translating candidate safety Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs) to improve the safety of cell therapy products and patient safety. He/She will work under the supervision of postdoctoral associates in SMART CAMP, with mentorship by principal investigators in Singapore and MIT. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that ISO13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 systems are adequately maintained, and continuous improvements are implemented
• Coordinate with various functions to ensure awareness and understanding of the Quality Management System.
• Plan and coordinate gap analysis exercises and provide advice on bridging the gap
• Manage and oversee quality audits by plan and ensure quality audits findings and recommendations are rectified and implemented
• Apprise management of quality audit findings and corrective actions taken
• Ensure that the procedures and processes prescribed by the Quality Management System are in place and implemented per requirement
• Review the Quality Management System periodically to assess continued suitability and areas of possible improvement
• Arrange for ISO13485, ISO14971 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 awareness training and further refresher training as needed
• Coordinate and plan work of external audit such as Customer, ISO certification and Regulatory bodies
• Ensure that systems and procedures are in compliance with ISO13485, ISO14971, FDA 21CFR Part 820, and GDP requirements
• Mentor / supervise as assigned and ensure timely and accurate completion of quality projects
• Support Plant wide audit/ inspection activities and special projects, as assigned
• Able to travel for suppliers/customers visits
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

• At least 3 years of working experience in Quality Management Systems, and in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent hands-on knowledge of Quality Management Systems primarily in ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820

• Establish controls system required in ISO13485 & FDA registered facility

Responsibilities:

• Monitor alerts for various database, including MariaDB, PostgreSQL, EDB, Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, Redis, and MongoDB, and take appropriate actions to ensure stability and performance.
• Perform daily health checks of production databases to ensure high availability, security, and optimal performance.
• Monitor daily backups and implement recovery solutions to ensure data resilience and business continuity.
• Manage database availability and performance, including incident and problem management processes.

• Conduct routine patching and upgrades both manually and via Robosys.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to database management, security, and compliance.
• Perform basic Linux (RedHat), AIX, and Windows system administration and execute relevant commands as needed.

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology or any related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in database management.
• Familiar with at least 2 databases among MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL/EDB, Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Hands-on experience with database replication, backup, and restore, particularly for MariaDB, PostgreSQL, EDB, Oracle, and DB2.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and the ability to take action on Long-Running Queries (LRQ) and LOCKWAITS for Oracle, DB2, and MSSQL.
• Basic knowledge of database monitoring for Redis, including shard synchronization and database health checks.
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems (RedHat), AIX, Windows, and associated commands.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.

• Ability to work various schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support 24x7 coverage.

An experienced professional responsible for leading and executing entire product development cycles, from new concept design generation, concept and feasibility evaluation, detailed design to prototyping and testing until series production.

Job Responsibilities

• Product development for dormakaba’s surface-mounted and concealed door closers and floor springs.
• Develops and manages new product designs in accordance with project requirements, while adhering to project milestones and schedule.
• Conduct feasibility studies, FMEA, cost analysis and material selection to support design decisions.
• Collaborate closely manufacturers, and suppliers to address technical challenges through DFM & DFA and ensure successful implementation of designs.
• Prepare and present design proposals, progress reports, and project updates to stakeholders, while abiding to timely delivery within project’s budget.
• Utilizes SolidWorks software to generate detailed 3D models and technical drawings for prototypes and production.
• Setup test plans using DOE methodology, analyze test results and iterate design to meet performance and quality standards.

Job Requirements

• Experienced in designing springs, custom gears (e.g. rack and pinion, worm drives), cam drives, bearings and hydraulic systems.
• Skilled in material selection for steel and aluminum, with expertise in manufacturing processes, including machining, cast iron / aluminum casting, metal forming and heat treatment.
