Role & Responsibility:

· Conduct research and find gaps in the market, wherein the product could fit

· Developing product design concepts from client requirements

· Confirming product design specifications with clients

· Preparing design specifications through sketches

· Budgeting for product designs with clients

· Setting schedules for project completion with clients and adhering to budgets and schedules

· Troubleshooting any design problems that may arise during the design process needed

· Learn, research, and stay on top of innovation and design trends on a global scale

Element has an opportunity for an Engineer (Fire Product Testing) to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.

Job Duties:

• Liaise with customers for proposal and job arrangement
• Perform quality checks on equipment prior to site deployment
• Conduct hardware mecahnical test and witness at customer's site or designated site
• Prepare test and inspection reports
• Upkeep of testing equipment and calibration records

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Candidate with prior testing experience and working knowledge of laboratory safety would be an added advantage
• Knowledge and understanding of the local and international fire testing standards, building elements design standards and regulations
• Ability to interpret technical documents
• Able to miltitask and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skill

PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:

• Locate sources of supply for purchasing and obtaining prices

• Contact suppliers to negotiate, compare prices to determine best bids

• Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems

• Prepare, review and process requisition and purchase orders for supplies

• Estimate quantities and determine present and future material availability

• Monitor inventory movement and ordering materials when necessary

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management

• 3 years relevant experience in similar capacity, preferably from manufacturing or trading industry

• Responsible, dependable and diligent in work

• Possess initiative, negotiating and critical thinking skills

• Able to work independently and possess organizational and communication skills to accomplish goals
