Requirement:

• Assist the shift supervisors, production technicians in production of Ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH)
• Evaluate utility supply system operation.
• Coordinate the disposal of waste products with authorized waste handle companies.
• Monitor the inventories of raw materials.
• Assist in preparation for maintenance and commissioning of equipment.
• Liaise with maintenance department on transition and shutdown planning.
• Conduct and assess trainings for newly and existing personnel to achieve standard requirements. (HSEQ Policy, Compliance System)
• Conduct safety engagements for technicians. (PPE, 5s, KY)
• Any other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years polymer or petrochemical plant experience
• Experience in the operation of chemical plant equipment and utility supply equipment
• Experience in waste management systems.
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8am - 4.30pm)

• Conduct field tests and studies for plant efficiency, yield and energy conservation.
• Conduct process safety assessments (HAZOP,LOPA) and provide support to HSE department.
• Coordinate with technical section for process simulation, evaluation, investigation,
• performance & yield optimization.
• Implement technical corrective measures to address customer complaints effectively.
• Data logging for findings and provide recommend modifications, improvements and cost reduction
• Conduct basic engineering design for investment projects, including marked-up P&IDs and necessary technical information for cost estimation.
• Liaise with Technical department and work closely with technical process engineer to conduct relevant checks, documentations and performance test.
• Work closely with global EVAL process improvement team to build synergy for technical updates of KAP EVAL plant.
• Any other adhoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, or engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering/production work experience in chemical industry.
• Experience in designing or optimizing the process control system of chemical plants.
• Basic Engineering Skill with utilizing process and instrumentation diagram (P&ID).
• Experience in lean manufacturing methods (5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM)
