Job Description:

• Perform and fulfil daily production such as capping, packing of goods into carton boxes
• Conduct weight check and quality check
• Cleaning up, mopping the floor, dispose of rubbish of the production areas

• Prepare cartons and labelling
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by direct supervisor or management

Description:

• Under direct supervision, the Production Planner is responsible for production order management and daily execution on the shop floor.
• This job is the first level in the Manufacturing Scheduling job family. At this level, the Production Planner has limited autonomy to deviate from established processes, but is expected to develop their understanding of the principles necessary to exercise such judgment at the upper levels of the Manufacturing Scheduling job family.
• The Production Planner receives training to be able to plan and schedule routine orders for their assigned product lines and to resolve related problems affecting delivery for short-term (<30 days) planning horizons.
• Performs release of production orders within acceptable guidelines, uses dispatch report to coordinate schedule execution, and performs inventory management functions to optimize material flow.

Requirement :

The Production Planner will have a basic understanding and knowledge of: Forecasting, FP, MRP, Excel, Theory of Constraints, Master Data, Engineering Change Management, and Inventory Turns. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience is preferred.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of two years working in manufacturing, procurement, or customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1) Develop and monitor production schedule to ensure deadlines are met.

2) Conduct weekly meeting with production and engineering department on production schedule.

3) Book machine capacity based on forecast from sales department and prepare overall capacity chart.

4) Coordinate internally on order prioritization according to delivery schedule.

5) Identify and address any issues that may arise during production with relevant departments.

6) Any other duties that is assigned by superior as and when it is required.

Requirements:

1) Degree in Mechanical engineering or related discipline.

2) Able to interpret BOM & Drawing.

3) Good knowledge on process operation sequence.

4) Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

5) Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency.

6) Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills.

Job Responsibilities:

· Manage and oversee all production activities to meet production schedule in Batam.

· Review the production processes and manage the budget to eliminate wastage and achieve cost effectiveness.

· Implement continuous improvement plan to improve operational efficiency.

· Ensure operations comply strictly with production procedure, safety and quality standard, and meet regulatory requirements.

· Work with other department in standardization and cost reduction.

· Manage ISO and customers audit.

· Train and improve the skills & abilities of production staff.

· Formulate annual budgetary and production plan.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Degree in Engineering or related discipline.

· At least 10 years of working experience in production department, with minimum 5 years in managerial capacity.

· Strong problem-solving skills.

· Possess good communication, interpersonal and analytical skill.

· Be culturally sensitive.

· Proficient in Japanese language (reading, writing, speaking).

· Knowledge of Six Sigma/LEAN concept is an added advantage.

· Past working experience in strong regulatory compliance organization is an added advantage.

· Able to be assigned or stationed in Indonesia Batam.
