Job Purpose

Part of Customer Service team responsible for handling all types of Ownership & Nomination transactions including policy assignment, beneficiary nomination, vesting, and delivering them within service standards and ensuring compliance with the respective regulatory frameworks.

The Job

• Assess and process applications for absolute and collateral assignment, beneficiary nomination and vesting within service, compliance and regulatory standards.
• Handle investigation of complex cases from policyholders and financial representatives on assignments and nomination of beneficiary.
• Work collaboratively with various departments, including Bancassurance, Claims, Legal, Group Risk Management on assignment, beneficiary nominations, FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliant Act) and CRS (Common Reporting Standard) matters. Note that FATCA and CRS forms are part of submission requirements for assignments and trust nominations.
• Provide strong support in handling enquiries from touchpoints, including policyholders and financial representatives on section cases and processes.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and defects.
• Review and provide continuous improvement to the section’s processes.
• Assist to document changes in workflows for the section.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by Unit/Section Heads.
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

1. Salary range: $3,000 - $4,000 + Transport Allowance + Commission

Responsibilities:

• Develop new business opportunities.
• Manage E-commerce, product marketing, CRM to secure existing customer & potential customer.
• Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
• Prepare quotation and handle negotiations.
• Provide after sales follow-up on quality issue.
• Maintain and grow current contract base by capturing new customer and sustaining existing customer.
• Prepare and follow-up of contract quotation.

Requirements:

• Arrange booking with carriers/co-loaders and execute all shipping documents (awb)
• Co-ordinate daily operations and transactions on freight executions.
• Perform job creation and costing and other data entries in freight system.
• Assist in freight procurement with agents and carriers.
• Co-ordinate and send timely pre-alerts and other notifications to customer and network office.
• Perform tasks and handle full set of documents and follow up on Air shipments.
• Permit declaration, monitor bookings and execute billing.
• Correspond and follow up on emails.
• Co-ordinate and communicate shipment information with stakeholders and customs.
• Identify issues and provide resolution; escalate to Department manager when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management industry or related discipline
• Experience in Air import / export shipments, background in air freight operations
• Positive attitude and must be a good team player in a fast paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
