The Managing Director roles should be overseeing in total company organisation performance and welfare which include:-

1. Overseeing operations such as sales, marketing, customer services, production logistics and finance.
2. Developing corporate strategies to meet short-term and long-term goals.
3. Prepare and implement business plan to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities.
4. Overseeing communication with stakeholders, including investors, customers, suppliers etc.
5. Monitoring the organisation's financial performance and budgeting, and reporting to stakeholders.
6. Representing the organisation at public events or initiatives.

Production Planning and Execution:

• Overseeing the entire production process from start to finish.
• Developing and implementing production schedules and timelines.
• Ensuring the availability of necessary resources (materials, equipment, personnel).
• Monitoring production progress and identifying potential bottlenecks or delays.
• Implementing quality control measures to ensure products meet specifications.

Cost Control and Efficiency:

• Monitoring production costs and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
• Optimizing production processes to improve efficiency and minimize waste.
• Exploring and implementing new technologies or methods to enhance productivity.
  

Industry Best Practices:

• Staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in construction and design.
• Adhering to relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
  

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborating with other departments (e.g., design, procurement, sales) to ensure smooth project execution.
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders (e.g., clients, suppliers) regarding production progress and any potential issues.
  

Continuous Improvement:

• Identifying areas for improvement in production processes and implementing necessary changes.
• Providing recommendations to management on how to enhance production efficiency and quality.
  

Area of responsibilities

1) Provide full support in discreet of personal and secretarial to Director.

2) Ensure highest confidential level when dealing with all matters, safekeeping documents and filings.

3) Answer phone calls and emails and take messages.

4) Manage and schedule meetings and appointments (send out calender invites).

5) Provider reminders of important task and deadlines.

6) Take minutes of meeting and follow up action if required.

7) Arrange travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation and itineraries.

8) Prepare proposal based on director's guide.

9) Assist on paperwork and administrative tasks assigned by Director.

10) Coordinate company’s events such as planning activities, meal arrangements, etc.

11) Provide support on all HR matters & activities, when required.

12) Run errands as requested, when required.

13) Provide assistance for personal errands and tasks assigned.

14) Any other area of responsibilities that the company deems necessary.

Competency requirements

1) Minimum requirement of Diploma.

2) Organizational and time management skills.

3) Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

4) Ability to multitask and work efficiently.

5) Able to speak and type in Chinese to assist in preparing proposal for Chinese customers.

Working Hours
Monday - Friday : 8 30am - 5 45pm (1 Hour Break)
Saturday: 8 30am - 2 30pm (1 Saturday Shift Every 4 Weeks)

Work location: Loyang Way

Working Week: 5.5 days

Working Hours: 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday

Saturday: 9 am to 1 pm Saturday

Monthly Salary: S$15,000 to S$16,500

2. Drive innovation/invention and design to enable manufacturing lines to run more efficiently with reduced downtime, less material waste, and greater output per unit of time.
3. Drive operational excellence through innovation and provide practical solutions that enhance productivity and minimize operational costs for the company.
4. Lead the product development team to define and influence the direction of future industry innovations.
5. Comply with safety and metal packaging regulations and requirements.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering - mechanical manufacturing technology and equipment (highly preferred).
2. Strong leadership skills to shape the direction of product development and operational excellence are key to contributing to the company’s growth and success in a competitive market.
3. Minimum of 18-20 years of hands-on experience in the metal packaging machine design sector.
4. Proven track record of working on various complex projects, ranging from machine design to integrating cutting-edge technologies that improve operational efficiency and product quality.
5. Proven 2-3 patent designs being published and recognized by the industry – for example, it has become the industry benchmark, setting new standards for quality and performance.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in written and verbal English and Chinese, as you must communicate frequently with internal stakeholders in China and external stakeholders across China and Asia.
