Job Scope

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for all Finance & Human Resources portfolio. This includes bookkeeping, financial accounting, invoicing, managing payment to vendors, reconciliation, reporting, tax and audit requirements, payroll, recruitment and HR related scope of work. You will be involved in bringing the Finance & Accounting activities in-house from an external vendor, evaluate and implement finance processes, recommend best practices and explore system implementation, as well as continually explore ways to streamline/ enhance ways of doing things internally.

This will be a Singapore portfolio with approximately focus of 70% on Finance & Accounting responsibilities + 30% HR scope of work.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
2. Assist the Operations Manager in menu planning and coordination with chefs and staff.
3. Coordinate with chefs to optimize provisioning and streamline purchasing.
4. Estimate food and beverage costs for effective financial planning.
5. Oversee portion control and minimize wastage in food preparation.
6. Conduct regular quality checks to maintain high standards.
7. Lead the team during shifts, ensuring adherence to service standards and financial targets.
8. Collaborate with management to plan marketing, advertising, and special events.
9. Manage hiring, training, and scheduling of food service personnel.
10. Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding food quality and service.
11. Utilize Point of Sales system for preparing meal cost checks.
12. Assist in overall restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

1. Minimum GCE 'N' level or equivalent, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and management skills.
3. Passionate about delivering excellent management and interpersonal services.
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
