(A) Job Summary:

The Project Director (PD) assumes a leadership role, directing project team members to achieve key targets related to safety, quality, profitability, and the timely completion of the project.

(C) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:

• Recognised bachelor’s degree and/or higher in Civil Engineering by Singapore PE Board.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience managing infrastructure projects, including at least 10 years overseeing mega infrastructure projects, with proven experience in a Project Director (PD) role.
• Resourceful experience in civil works design, technical expertise and construction work planning management.
• Able to lead the project team and overall responsible for the construction progress.

Job Descriptions:

- Provides strategic leadership and oversees technical, operational, financial, and managerial aspects to ensure successful project implementation.

About the Strategic Communications Unit (SCU)

The Strategic Communications Unit (SCU) is responsible for creating, implementing and delivering timely, clear, concise, and effective messaging and communication strategies to enhance the corporate profile of SNEF and promulgate SNEF’s key messages across all media platforms.

The SCU produces and disseminates information, messages and publications to relevant stakeholder groups through internal and external communication and works to raise the profile of SNEF internally and externally through the development of communication and media strategies that promote the mission of SNEF.

The SCU will reside as a dedicated unit under the Policy Division helmed by the Head (Strategic Communications).

Job Description:

• Collaborates with management team and comms team to develop and implement the overall communication mission of SNEF
• Develops and implements a communications strategy for SNEF to build and maintains a positive corporate brand
• Develops and coordinates the implementation a crisis communications strategy for SNEF
• Evaluates results and impact of communications activities, reports on developments, trends and attitudes on issues of concern to SNEF

Job Requirements for Assistant Director/Senior Manager (Comms)

• Bachelor’s degree in Media Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (essential)
• At least 3 - 5 years of working experience in the related filed with expertise in content and website management experience
• Meticulous, resourceful, creative and a team player
• Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills (candidate will need to go undergo written and oral presentation)
• Possess IT savvy skills and creative in designing is an advantage
• Good experience/ knowledge in CMS, Goggle Analytics and basic HTML knowledge is an added advantage.

PART A: DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· To report and assistant Project Director in planning, organizing and supervising the execution of works on-site.

· To assist to lead site construction team in ensuring smooth execution of work.

· Responsible for site progress, according to planned schedule.

· Provide the direction in construction planning, co-ordinate works with sub-contractors, clients and consultants to ensure overall work progress based on schedule of works.

· To supervise and guide subordinates in checking of the works to meet the material and workmanship requirements.

· To plan ahead of schedule so that site problems can be resolved before they have impact on cost, overall schedule and quality.

· Understand and ensure site safety requirements are met while executing works on-site by sub-contractors.

· Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes, minimize environmental impact associated with the construction activities.

· To take reasonably practical measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at workplace.

· Good understanding of Singapore Standard Code of Practice.

· Any other task may be assigned by the Company from time to time

PART B: EXPERIENCE & SKILL-SET REQUIRED

· Diploma / Degree or Equivalent.

· At least 5-years of relevant working experience.

· Experience in private residential and Design & Build projects are added advantage.

· Familiar with our local standard quality implementation, BCA CONSQUAS and Quality Mark Assessment and Safety aspects in the construction industry.

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / Powerpoint).

· Good team player with strong leadership skills.
