Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in day-to-day site supervision, ensuring work progresses according to plan and meets quality standards.
• Support in coordinating subcontractors across civil, steel structural, and M&E disciplines, and ensure they adhere to project timelines and specifications.
• Monitor work quality, conduct inspections, and address any deviations from project plans, reporting issues to the Project Manager for resolution.
• Ensure that all site activities comply with health and safety standards. Conduct routine safety checks and enforce safety protocols among subcontractors.
• Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on site progress, subcontractor performance, and any issues affecting timelines or quality.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, materials used, and any changes in scope, and assist in preparing reports as needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Architecture or a related field.
• Valid Workplace Safety and Health Supervisor certification
• 4 years of experience in construction or site supervision, preferably with exposure to civil, steel structure, M&E, or architectural elements.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with an eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Basic knowledge of safety standards and regulations in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

• Prepare and present project status reports, including progress, risks, and financial performance, to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns promptly.

Continuous Improvement:

• Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and project specifications.
• Conduct regular project reviews and implement improvements.
• Implement lessons learned from completed projects to enhance future project management practices.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve project execution and delivery.

Procurement activities:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, delivery times, and service.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service, and work with suppliers to implement corrective actions.
• Ensure that all procurement activities comply with legal, regulatory, and internal policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in project management and procurement
• Minimum 5 years of relevant managerial experience in manufacturing or relevant industry
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications and other relevant software (eg. Navision)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• A dynamic team leader with a positive working attitude. Able to organize and lead a small team to attain business excellence
