• Ensure effective communication via daily briefing, weekly update and monthly brainstorming within the department
• Support the Reception team in relation to KPI achievement, upselling targets, My Millennium sign ups and Revinate scores
• Assist DM with regard to complaint handling.

Guest Services:

• Provide guests with access to hotel services, forward in-room meal requests, and ensure that mail, faxes and packages are delivered in a timely manner
• To deal with irate guests and find ways to resolve issues to the guests’ satisfaction
• To serve as concierges, assisting guests with ground transportation, restaurant or entertainment reservations, and providing other information about the locale
• To lead as a role model in terms of service and Revinate scores.

Job Description:

• Oversee full accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), invoicing, payments, collections, and month-end closing.
• Post accounting entries, complete monthly reconciliations for banks, debtors, creditors, and inter-company balances.
• Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and bank reconciliations, and calculate sales commissions.
• Maintain petty cash records, manage stock control, and arrange for replenishment.
• Address financial queries from vendors and customers, prepare GST reports, and assist with audit schedules while coordinating with auditors and tax officers.
• Work with the sales team, place orders, and communicate with suppliers in China, Malaysia, and Singapore.
• Follow up on shipments with suppliers and logistics in China to ensure timely delivery to the warehouse.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• Min. 3 years of full set of accounting working experiences in the Manufacturing industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the overall execution of events, including planning, coordination, and execution.
• Work closely with vendors, suppliers to ensure all their needs are met, managing the day-of event operations.
• Ensure that all events meet the client's expectations and budget.
• Maintain accurate records of all event activities and expenses.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
• Manage any issue that may arise during the event, including resolving conflicts amongst individuals and managing crisis situations.
• Other duties as assigned by your Reporting Officer from time to time.

• At least two years of working experience in a similar position, preferably in an event management or hospitality industry. Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Service oriented with an eye for details.
• Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.
• Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively.
• Ability to work independently and has good initiative under dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated and energetic.
• Open to work on weekdays/weekends/public holidays (depending event requirements) when required.
