Roles & Responsibilities

The candidate will assist in handing AR and AP function, and full set of other dormant and/or small companies accounts. This position is based in Singapore HQ.

Job Responsibilities:

• AR module - Prepare monthly / termly invoices. Recording daily receipts received. Sending reminders to parents for outstanding fees.
• AP module – Recording of suppliers’ invoices, prepare payments vouchers, arrange for online banking payment transactions in compliance with procurement SOP and book it into accounting system in AP module
• Handle full set of dormant and/or small companies accounts including daily accounting entries, bank reconciliation, month end and year end closing and schedules including preparation of financial statements.
• Responsible to compile and check staff reimbursement
• Assist in financial analysis on P&L and balance sheet
• Assist in enhancement of the financial and management reporting system, internal control, policies and procedures
• Maintain a schedule to track the inter-company billing
• Monthly reporting deadlines to Finance Manager

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting / Bachelor of Degree in Accounting vith minimum 2 years of related experience
• Experience for keeping accounts for the education sector will be advantageous
• Hands-on handling AR and AP functions
• Hands-on handling online banking payments and ensure SOP compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications; Knowledge of ACCPAC advantageous

About The Role

1. To assist in organising and coordinating projects listed under the YD key thrust.

2. Work with strategic partners to design and develop, coordinate, implement, monitor and review the curriculum and all relevant training materials. For operational efficiency and improved youth development outcomes.

3. Deliver training workshops in line with the curriculum and track the learning outcomes for the various target groups.

4. Monitor and enhance the development of youth volunteers through the use of data management systems and customised training and knowledge sharing platforms.

5. Recruitment, Select, Train, Manage and Monitor the youth volunteers.

6. Design and develop a knowledge repository documenting case studies and learning materials on youth leadership and cause-based ground-up initiatives to facilitate knowledge sharing across the youth community;

7. Evaluate feedback and development indicators of volunteers, participants, etc.

8. Update database to provide timely submission of statistical reports and progress reports against KPIs.

9. Develop, update and streamline Standard Operating Procedures for existing projects undertaken.

10. To ensure optimal use of allocated budget.

11. To assist in the preparation of quarterly reports for Board meeting.

Technical Competencies:

Duties:

• Assist in handling Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets module and schedule
• Update Fixed Asset Register
• Extraction of Sales / AR receipts at month end
• Keep track of Capex / yearly Capex schedule
• Create/update customer and vendor business partner master in SAP
• Maintain/update intercompany selling price in SAP
• Assist in compiling monthly management report

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance/ACCA
• A few years of working experience in Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets, experience in full set of accounts advantageous.
