Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Director of NCPA (Prof Liu Hong) and other research staff at NCPA, as well as the School of Social Sciences

• Coordinate NCPA's research activities within NTU (including the Lien Ying Chow Legacy Fellowship Programme) and with external partners

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree in one of the relevant fields of public administration, public policy, Asian Studies, political science, and international political economy from a reputed university

• At least three years of relevant experience

• Ability to work collaboratively with team members is particularly welcome

• Strong background and demonstrated experience in research, field work, data collection and analysis, and publication

• Demonstrated experience using both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies would be preferred

Your responsibilities will include:

Content Development - Prepare news releases, thought leadership articles, briefing documents, internal communications materials and other forms of written collateral.

Media Relations – Monitor and flag relevant media opportunities, compile and maintain media lists, develop pitches and conduct media outreach

Analysis and Research - Gather, analyse and summarise key media coverage and trends to assist with new business initiatives.

Social Media – Assist where required with social media management and content development.

Account Coordination – Support the wider account team and assist them with the smooth day-to-day running of accounts.

Media Monitoring and Reporting - Provide real-time media monitoring of social, local, regional and international media online and in print for relevant coverage and compile reports.
