• Responsible for building ship simulation environments, developing global path planning algorithm and Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) learning models that can process to perform sea navigation task.
• Develop and implement a ship navigation simulation environment.
• Design and implement rule-based optimization algorithms such as A-Star, ant colony and genetic algorithm.
• Design and implement learning algorithms that can process input data and generate ship commands with confidence scores.
• Develop a human-machine interaction board to provide action recommendation for operator assistance.
• Conduct thorough research and contribute to the publication of research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related fields
• Proficient programming skills and experience (Python, C++)
• Experience or knowledge in develop navigation frameworks
• Experience or knowledge in path planning algorithms such as such as A-Star, ant colony and genetic algorithm
• Experience or knowledge in Deep Reinforcement Learning and Graph Convolutional Neural Networks for collision avoidance
• Background in robotic motion planning research projects. (e.g., holonomic and non-holonomic motion models)
• Experience in developing and working with simulation environments, such as Gazebo, CARLA, or Unity

RESPONSIBILITIES

To provide support for MI's project in the following ways:

• Recruiting and breifing project participants on project protocol
• Administrering surveys to participants and following up with participants to ensure that they are adhering to the project protocol
• Providing on-site support to project participants when needed (e.g at participants' homes or at product developers' site) 
• Providing administrative support to MI's project, such as coordinating schedules with project stakeholders and sourcing for quotes from vendors 
• Consolidating inputs from various participants for sharing with project partner(s)
•  Facilitating effective communications between project partner(s) and participant (e.g paraphrasing project information in an accessible, easy-read manner for participants where necessary)

• Education: Higher Nitec or A Level and above; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office programmes (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• iii. Fluent in English and another language (Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil)
• Able to commute occasionally when needed
• Able to work outside of office hours occasionally when needed
• Experience with interacting with people with intellectual disability is a plus

Description:

• To verify reports and claims submitted by contractors.
• To record all variations as instructed or approved by Authority’s appointed consultants.
• To attend to Authority’s appointed contractor’s queries and co-ordinate works by Authority’s appointed main contractor and his appointed direct contractors.
• To inspect and take over completed works.
• To supervise and witness testing commissioning of M&E services or systems.
• To provide weekly reports of site activities and problems on-site, including how they were resolved.
• Attend meetings in the Authority and the Authority’s appointed consultants’ offices when necessary to discuss issues arising on-site.
• To familiarize with the drawings, and contract specifications and highlight deviations.
• To monitor and report on the contractor’s progress and performance and maintain site records of the works which should include all circumstances and events occurring during the construction stage.
• To attend TOP or CSC inspections by Registered Inspectors, BCA and all other relevant authorities’ representatives for each respective discipline.
• To carry out and report assessment on Construction Quality Assessment system (CONQUAS).

Requirement:

• Diploma from Polytechnic in relevant discipline or hold an equivalent qualification.
• Preferably 5 years of local supervision as a resident technical officer for Architectural, Civil, and Structural works.
• Be conversant in local legislation, regulations, and codes

• Manage settlement arrangements, including T/T, Giro, and cheque issuance.
• Take charge of journal entry input for settlements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
