Qualifications and training required

There are routes into a career in civil engineering for both university graduates and school leavers. Graduates will need a degree in civil engineering accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). You are then expected to work towards one of two professionally recognised qualifications with the ICE. If you have completed a BEng, you can gain an incorporated engineer (IEng) status. If you completed either an MEng or a BEng plus a masters, you can acquire chartered engineer (CEng) status. If you are applying for a graduate role within civil engineering, it will greatly help your career prospects if you have gained work experience during a year-in-industry or summer placement. • Developing detailed test plans outlining the scope of testing, specific test cases, and expected results.
• Evaluating test results, identifying defects and bugs, and documenting them in detail with clear steps to reproduce the issue.
• Documenting testing activities, results, and identified issues in clear and concise reports for stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Nitec or Higher Nitec in related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Equipment Maintenance Testing
• Prior experience in Semiconductor Industry
