• Set up and manage monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance, detect issues, and ensure high availability.

• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to understand their needs and ensure that infrastructure and processes support their objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in devops on cloud platforms, deploying & maintaining containerized applications for applications averaging > 100 requests per second
• Proficient with AWS and all its core services
• Expert with Kubernetes & Docker
• Proficient with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, Bitbucket Pipelines
• Proficient in IAC using Terraform & Ansible
• Proficient in scripting with python or shell scripts
• Experienced with monitoring & log management tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana

The AMS business manages 11% of the world’s airspace and with revenues of over 500 million Euros worldwide, is the global market leader in airspace management solutions. In Singapore, the business focus is the delivery and support of two key ATM solutions including TopSKY-ATC(HE) and LORADS-III.

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

You will be a member of the software squad which maintains LORADS3, the current ATM system used operationally by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. As such, you will be supporting the program by analysing/fixing PCRs. Additionally, you will be tasked to robustify given test frameworks.

Immediate opportunities to upskill and learn the domain & life cycle of an ATM in operation will be provided via a learning mission in our AMS Headquarters in Singapore for a duration of 6-8 weeks. Here you will be guided in a structured regimen of theoretical and practical learning, with the goal of returning to Singapore as an immediate contributor.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As aSoftware Engineer, you are accountable for:

· Designing and delivering software to meet requirements including architecture, design, reuse, development, integration and verification.

· Defining and tailoring the software engineering environment and the process, practices and tools applicable to the project.

· Ensuring that the designed solution is developed according to design, schedule, cost and quality expectations.

· Identifying risks and proposing effective solutions; executing mitigation actions and reporting on outcomes and residual risks.

· Participate in the engineering activities (e.g., design katas, coding katas) of the COC
