MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop and implement new optic / illumination components/system

· Resolve optical / illumination issues.

· Identify necessary and desirable improvements of vision optical system

performance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor Degree in Optics Engineering / Physics/Photonics etc

· Experience with optical design software, optical alignment and optical testing

preferred.

· Experience in 2D drawing preferred

· Knowledge and experience in high magnification optics and LED illumination with

added advantage.

· Familiar with lenses, specification, design trade offs, basic optics modeling

techniques, light measurement equipment and techniques are desired

· Candidates must be able to be independent with minimal supervision

· Candidates have experience in optics field with different background can be

considered

Job Description:

• Design, development, testing and support of Printers firmware
• Making a software test plan and specification of a product
• Program Design, Coding and Debugging of a product
• Perform a software testing & reporting a software test result
• Assist with hardware troubleshooting & support hardware debugging
• Software requirement analysis and documentation
• Perform failure analysis
• Participate in Ad-hoc projects and assignments as required

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Electronic/Computer Engineering/ Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent with 2 years of working experience
• Preferably have experience in development embedded system using C/C++ language
• Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
• Willing to perform overtime
• Candidate with no working experience is welcome to apply too

· Devise mechanical solutions and integration of electrical components on subassembly or assembly level.

· Design products for additive manufacturing and design for assembly.

· Considering user perspective and user interaction in design.

· Preparation of necessary 3D and 2D documents for prototyping and manufacturing.

· Hands on building and evaluating of proof of concept.

· Managing and maintaining of 3D printers.

· Introduce good practices and improve workflows.

· Prepare and document all necessary project and product design documents.

Who you are -

· Mechanical or Mechatronics or Advance & Digital manufacturing background

· Enjoys product design and working in the cross-section of additive manufacturing and drone technologies.

· Design for additive manufacturing knowledge

· Possess Cad skills (Solidworks, Autocad)

· Interested in drone, UAV related technology and additive manufacturing.

· Able to work on multiple projects concurrently.

· Meticulous and Responsible.

· Independent go-getter but understands the importance of working in a team.
