Responsibilities
· Analysing project specifications, developing work schedules, and delegating tasks to different teams.
· Ensuring that each project stays within the allocated budget and timeframe.
· Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
· Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculates time requirements, sequences project elements
· Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems
· Prepares project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends and recommending actions
· Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
· Preparing, scheduling, co-ordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering projects
· Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specification.
· Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
· Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
· Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
· Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to aid and technical support
· Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
Reuirements:
Maintains & assists PM with preparation of Weekly Project Update accurately and on time
Reviews project documents & creates RFIs in a timely manner
Maintains and updates RFI Log
Actively assists project superintendent with enforcement of site safety
Can identify quality issues in the field and communicate them accordingly
Assists in preparation and implementation of Project Execution Plan (PEP).
• Attends the Weekly Progress Meetings (Internal as well as with Client and consultant).
• Monitors work in progress and prepares weekly report of the status of each assignment.
• Ensuring all procedures and calculations are submitted to the client for review and approval.
• Coordinates materials and assists in the logistics, its shipment and receipt at construction site.
• Coordinates with all projects related personnel (onshore and offshore) on day-today progress of work activities, procurement and operations to ensure timely completion of the project.
• Provide full support as required by the Management and PMT for all projects.

- Proven working experience as a M&E Engineer/Supervisor
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD/BIM
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
- Decision making ability and leadership skills.
