• Assist the Process Engineer to conduct activities and projects to optimize operation during Shift to achieve operational and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot plant/equipment/quality issues and recommend countermeasures.

• Assist the Process Engineer to support Shift operation by providing suitable operating conditions for stable plant operation and product quality control.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or its equivalent, preferably with 1 to 2 years of experience in petroleum, chemical or polymer industries.
• Have knowledge of process control and troubleshooting, hands on knowledge of plant equipment and instrumentation.
• Essential prerequisites include good analytical and technical report writing skills, ability to be a team player with leadership, initiative, drive & commitment, able to take pressure and able to communicate well with others.

Overview

As a Maintenance Engineer (Senior / Assistant), you are responsible for maintaining and repairing the heavy machinery, plant equipment, tools and systems used in the manufacturing, engineering and other industrial production processes. You are to ensure that all machineries and equipment are in good working conditions as and when are needed.

Responsibilities

1. Manage, oversee and lead the Maintenance team to ensure minimum downtime of Facility, Machinery and Equipment.
2. Strategize on maintenance regime, maintenance supplies, work instruction and methods.
3. Create plant preventative maintenance procedures and schedules.
4. Conduct routine inspections and periodic maintenance checks on machines to keep them running smoothly.
5. Plan equipment upgrading and machinery modifications for improvement or prolong efficiency.
6. Plan, order, replenish, inventory keeping of machinery parts.
7. Analyze gaps to ensure programmes meets customers’ and company requirements.
8. Analyze breakdowns, diagnose faults and supervise time critical equipment repairs.
9. Offer technical expertise and necessary in-house training to Maintenance team, Operations team (i.e.: supervisor, foreman, fitters, technicians, etc.) and others.
10. Manage budget for current and future equipment upgrades, replacements and maintenances.
11. Resource, coach, mentor and motivate direct reports to create a high performing team.
12. Ensure the cause of non-conformities are properly investigated and analyzed all corrective and preventive actions taken are effective.
13. Responsible for control of maintenance cost, procurement of new components for existing equipment, or replacing the entire set of machines after a prescribed period of usage is complete.
14. Ensure all ISO documentations relating to Maintenance of plant machineries are up-to-date.
15. Report to Production Manager and Top Management on the performance of the quality management system including opportunities for improvements.
16. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management and/or the designated manager.

Requirements

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in maintenance in an automation / equipment manufacturing environment. OR
2. Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or related / Professional Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in maintenance in an automation / equipment manufacturing environment.
3. Able to multi-task, work independently, proactive with positive attitude.
4. Resilient, self-driven and analytical.
5. A strong problem solver with an eye for detail and an analytical mind.
6. Able to stand, stoop, squat and kneel for long periods of times, as well as lift, push and pull large machine parts or machines or machines as needed.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
8. Familiar with various ISO / QMS standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 45001.
9. Able to work on weekends / public holidays when required.

JOB SCOPE

As part of the Network Operations Center (NOC), triaging and resolution of incidents and problems within the SLA. Operational hours / support hours for the NOC will be 8am to 5pm, 365 days a year

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the implementation of approved network architecture and designs

• Integrates communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols into complete network

configurations.

• Evaluates new products, performs network problem resolution.

• Leverage detailed system administration and engineering knowledge and experience to support triage, troubleshooting, and repair of production devices

• Specalize in one or more of the below functional areas to resolve escalations from tier 1 resources utilizing complex problem solving and network

troubleshooting expertise. - IP Network Engineering - Expertise in Routing & Switching - IPv4/6, Unicast/Multicast, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, IPSEC, MPLS, QoS,

EVPN, ECMP, and expert knowledge on OEM vendors including HPE

• Edge Network and Infrastructure Engineering - Expert knowledge in servers, RSW’s, CDN, linux administration, BGP, netflow, peering, ODM, NTP servers and

expert knowledge on OEM vendors including HPE Proliant series hardware.

• DNS and NTP services

• Work across teams in a collaborative formation, be responsible for team mentorship, technology advances and direction, while also supporting project managers and network operations engineers as a consultant and subject matter advisor on specific network related topologies or technologies.

BASIC / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, and/or equivalent work experience

• Minimum four (5) years system adminstration / Linux adminstration and management experience

• Minimum one (1) year Routing Protocol experience – BGP, IS-IS, MPLS

• At least four (4) years of Data network experience

• Proficient in routing and switching technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, STP, VLAN, CDP, LACP, BGP, and ISIS/OSPF/EIGRP.

• Proficient with IPv4/IPv6 and able to develop new/modify network build and troubleshooting scripts with scripting languages like Python, Linux/Unix Shell, JSP, Ruby, Perl along with Linux and other OS knowledge including kernel

• Experience with field-based work with/in POPs, metro, Colo, or Enterprise/Business Office environments.

• Good Customer experience including managing task queues and interfacing with external vendors or Enterprise customers.

Job Responsibilities and Duties :

- Develop a deep understanding of design specifications based on customer requirements, , organizational goals, and business strategies. Conceptualize and develop solutions based on project requirements and Company standards through the use of simulations/modelling to support design concept used.

- Develop design specification sheet with relevant info related to the project and update as and when required and distribute to relevant parties.

- Carry out detailed cycle time study for individual modules to select the appropriate machine or module design. Develop 3D model of the machine and/or modules assigned with optimised design for manufacturing, cost, quality and safety.

- Initiate and carry out internal design reviews to share and explain the completed modules with other departments.

- Initiate and carry out design review with customer base on project schedule

- Revise design and documents based on both internal and external review·

- Create and update flow chart for the module or the entire machine

- Create part drawings and assembly drawings based on approved design and obtain approval from department manager

- Create Bill Of Materials (BOM) for the modules assigned based on design schedule given.

- Create drawing release file and send out drawings for quotation

- Send out standard part list for quotation based on BOM.

- Receive quotation and make price comparison spreadsheet

- Raise PR and get department manager approval and send to Purchase department for negotiation and ordering.

- Promptly support any design issues discovered during fabrication and /or assembly stages

- Make necessary modifications needed, update design, drawings and get approval from department manager.

- Release revised drawings to supplier and internal assembly team.

- Support machine assembly team as and when necessary, with set up and fine tuning of machines.

- Carry out all the activities based on the project schedule given.

- Meet quality standards while maintaining working knowledge of relevant technologies and best practices, and upholding company policies, internal, customer standards for machine building and safety.
