Responsibilities:
- Oversee effective implementation of the Quality Management System throughout the Company.
- Coordinate the review of quality procedures associated with continuous improvement initiatives in the Plant.
- Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet statutory requirements and the needs of external certification bodies.
- Organise and manage the internal audit system and the corrective action reporting system.
- Host external Quality System audits. Manage the audit program to ensure that all nonconformities raised by certification bodies during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified.
- Communicate with personnel at all levels, internally and externally to the Company, in relation to quality system matters.
- Oversee effective implementation of Halal Quality Management System throughout the company and coordinate Halal certification programme.
- Assume the role of a Qualified Person (QP) to oversee the export process. Ensure the compliance of the export consignments with importing countries’ requirements and submit declarations to the Singapore Food Agency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related Degree and a minimum of 4 years of working experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Must have strong knowledge of the Halal food system, GMP, HACCP, ISO 9000, ISO 22000 and food safety regulations; including gap closure on audit findings.
- Proficient in Microsoft office.
- Posses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented, takes initiative, resourceful and adaptable.
