Quality Controller/GAP Coordinator

Job Description

The Quality Control/GAP Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all products received perishable and nonperishable are of standard as per the company’s specifications. This role must also ensure supply security and FIFO practices.

Scope: Singapore (Choa Chu Kang farm)

Working Days: 5.5

Reporting into: Head of Farm Operations

In This Role You Will (Responsibility):

· Ensure incoming and outgoing goods (perishable and non-perishable) meet company and GAP standards.

· Daily inspection of production areas to ensure compliance with company and GAP standards.

· Analyse quality data and summarise findings.

· Generate inspection reports.

· Conduct quality assurance reports.

· Conduct internal self-audits of processes and procedures.

· Prepare quality assurance documents in compliance with local regulations and GAP standards.

· Ensure quality testing (shelf-life samples) and laboratory microbial testing is done in accordance with GAP standards.

· Ensure staff training is done to comply with GAP and Food Safety requirements.

Position Summary

This position is involved in Supplier Quality activities that improve, monitor and measure Illumina’s compliance with the Quality System Regulations, Illumina Quality policies, FDA regulations and ISO standards as well as Illumina product quality for current operation and compliance objectives.

Position Responsibilities

· Support qualification of new Suppliers and Partners for materials and services including risk assessments, audits and other supplier on-boarding activities.

· Provide support to investigation teams in determining root causes on material quality issues and initiate/ensure corrective and preventive action plans are developed and executed.

· Interface with Suppliers/CM (Contract Manufacturer), Engineering/ Manufacturing/ Quality Assurance/ Procurement departments to drive for quality improvements, specifically on incoming rejects, workmanship defects and primitive failures.

· Participate in Quality review activities with supplier/CM to identify improvement opportunities to meet quality expectation.

· Constantly review quality processes and suggests improvements that can be implemented to improve performances.

· Support Supplier/CM development and risk management activities

· Compile, evaluate and report on supplier/CM quality performance metrics for scorecard and monitoring

· Monitor to ensure supplier’s preventive and corrective actions are implemented and effective

· Participate with NPI team in selection of new suppliers

· Other such duties that may be determined by Management

Position Requirements

· Experience in directly working with Contract Manufacturer/Suppliers

· Experience in conducting supplier audits.

· Developing basic knowledge of quality tools.

· Beginning to intermediate experience with Microsoft tools and spreadsheets, charting, graphing tools and presentation tools.

· May have experience with electronic production life (PLM), enterprise resource planning tools (SAP) and etc.

· May have experience with statistical analysis packages, eg, JMP, Minitab.

· Must be detailed oriented, well organized and able to work independently and in teams.

· Good communication and collaboration skills

· Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Experience/Education/Skills

· Good understanding of FDA regulatory environment (CFR 820), 501k and ISO 13485 strongly preferred.

· Experience in medical device/ pharmaceutical/ IVD is preferred.

· Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field with 0-3 years of experience

JOB PURPOSE

The executive will support the Yishun Health (YH)’s strategic growth and development in Value Based Care (VBC) under Clinical Quality, Performance and Value (CQPV). The primary responsibilities and duties also include supporting and coordinating the implementation of value-based initiatives within YH.

The individual will collaborate with YH-wide multi-disciplinary teams, and external stakeholders such as NHG Clinical & Academic Development (CAD) and Ministry of Health (MOH) to align processes and resources planning to YH’s VBC strategy.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Areas of Responsibility

1. To support the development of YH’s Value Strategy and partner stakeholders (internal & external) to translate strategic priorities into action plans.

2. To oversee the implementation of Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) involving change management with patients and care providers to drive awareness & adoption.

3. To be plugged into the latest VBC developments internationally/locally, and conduct literature reviews on indicators, benchmarks and best practices.

4. To conduct top line analysis of data trends to identify areas for improvement.

Percent of Time Spent: 15%

5. To provide secretariat support and/or participate as an active member in the steering committees / workgroups supported by the Department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

(a) Education/Training/Experience

5.1 A bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

5.2 Well-versed with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

5.3 Relevant experience in Healthcare, Project Management and Data Analytics will be an advantage.
