Qualification Required and Area of Discipline

Job Description

What you will do:

• Support and complement the engineering team and sales team in the process design related to refrigeration systems and gas compression systems inclusive of compressor selections with Frick Screw compressors, York multi-wheel centrifugal compressors, and other compressors or chillers for the projects. This includes vessel and heat exchanger design using HYSYS and HTRI software and optimal to have AutoCad 2D experience for P&IDs and PFDs.
• Assume responsibility in providing engineering support for the design of refrigeration systems and gas compression systems for sales and projects, attend HAZOP meetings, and assist the sale and project teams at customer meetings.

How you will do it:

• Design refrigeration systems for various applications and perform a heat balance.
• Prepare P&ID diagrams, equipment layout/piping layout for refrigeration system.
• Size refrigeration equipment such as pressure vessel, heat exchangers, valve and controls
• Able to read and understand project/technical specification and comply to require specification.
• Specify temperature, pressure and differential transmitters, and flow meters along with the instrument engineer.

About the role

This role forms key technical contribution of the Cell Verification and Validation for next generation battery cell development and realisation. Develop, improve and optimise comprehensive cell testing capability and methodology to ensure all cell requirements are fully evaluated with effective data analytics.

A successful candidate will have technical skills with hands-on approach to drive existing/ upcoming cell testing equipment stabilisation, fixture modification and analytical /statistical data processing to develop comprehensive cell test methodology and data analytics. • Be a key technical contributor of the Dyson battery cell verification and validation to develop, improve and optimise cell test methods for cell energy, power, reliability and safety evaluation in a precise and efficient manner.
