Duties to Perform:

The senior Gas Engineer will work on designing, tendering, and monitoring the installation of bulk gas and special gas systems for industrial properties in semiconductors, electronics, biopharma, and related industries. The gas systems include bulk gases, high-purity inert gases, flammable gases, corrosive gases, hazardous gases, and related distribution networks.

The senior Gas Engineer will collate the client’s capacity requirements and specifications and prepare the conceptual design, make a detailed design for system capacity, configuration, schematic, P&ID, PFD, layout, distribution, and system parameters, and prepare documents like the scope of work, reports, specifications, standards, logistics, and detailed drawings for tender. Requirements:

You should have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent.

You should have sound experience in designing high-purity, and specialty gases and systems related to semiconductors manufacturing or similar facilities. You should be able to comprehend clients’ URS, and design with concept design, schematics, PFDs, P&IDs, routing layout, the scope of work, specifications, and functional descriptions. As a Non-Volatile Memory Quality & Reliability Assurance (NVMQRA) Engineer at Micron Technology, you will be responsible for performing formal Failure Analysis of customer reported failing devices via the Returned Material Authorization (RMA) process. You will be required to summarize lab analysis results at the electrical and physical level to identify root cause and establish an associated containment plan. In this role, you will have the opportunities to collaborate with various engineering and manufacturing stakeholders to evaluate and review Corrective Actions /Preventive Actions. You will provide documentation of the RMA findings and oversee the final customer report till closure. In addition, for the senior role, you will be asked to provide guidance and lead the team when solving complex unplanned deviations reported by our customers. Project management skills are necessary and the ability to make critical decisions that directly translate to quality and timely completion of the project is highly desirable. You will also be required to spearhead the sustaining efforts and keeping up to date on new product knowledge, as well as developing and mentoring new talents.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Perform Failure Analysis of Customer Returns

• Understand customer complaint of the memory component failure
• Initiate communication with Micron Customer-facing team for further details on customer complaint, requesting additional questions to provide best opportunity for successful analysis
• Perform bench level analysis including initial data image analyis/examination
• Perform Automated Test Equipment (ATE) analysis and interpret results
• Work with the appropriate engineering teams (e.g., PE, PYE) to perform detailed fault isolation when electrical failure has been confirmed
• Summarize findings and submit for physical failure analysis (PFA).

Provide FA Reports for Micron Customer Facing Team for Communication to External Customers

• Summarize analysis at electrical and physical level into customer friendly formats.
• Work with the appropriate manufacturing Global Quality teams through the appropriate request systems (example: GPSS) for Root Cause and/or Corrective Action and a containment plan
• Identify potential risk to external customers
• Communicate with respective BU (Business Unit) on potential impact to customers
• Communicate FA updates through interim reports or during scheduled meetings with the customers.
• Provide formal FA Report with findings

Sustain Knowledge of Device Capabilities and Characteristics

• Keep up to date with latest Fab/ASM process technology
• Understand datasheet specifications for each device and the differences from previous technode for NOR * NAND product family
• Comprehension of qualification data and potential impact to customer operation
• Stay up-to-date on common customer applications and usage model
• Partnering with customer support team to resolve ongoing customer issues

Qualifications and Experience

Detailed Description:

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Prepare product sample for agency inspection.
• Perform internal product compliance audits.

• Traceability of manufacturer and flame rating for incoming material e.g. plastic material/PCB used in products.
• Keep in touch with relevant Global Product Regulatory team to track and understand the updates to requirements.
• Report any regulatory changes/escalation to management and inform applicable departments.
• Track and maintain the latest version certificates and test reports from the certification body.
• Ensures that the processes are carried out and comply with the specifications required by customers and that it complies with the local requirements of the organization and the requirements of MPS (Manufacturing Process Standards)
• Ensures that the specifications, the acceptance criteria of the products by the operational staff are known and respected; ensures that operators comply with product quality inspection procedures in accordance with customer requirements
• Provides support in order to optimize processes, identifies and initiates opportunities to reduce costs
• Prepares and collects data from the key points of the processes and prepares the internal quality reports
• Monitors product yields, process (yield) and scrap rate (scrap) or other quality indicators
• Participates in the activities of PFMEA, 8D analysis and elaboration of Control Plan
• Assesses and updates working instructions for specific products

Requirements:

An Operations Engineer with liquid processing experience in the F&B sector, who will be responsible for providing operations support to strategic co-manufacturing partners and who will collaborate closely to implement innovative and continuous improvement initiatives. This role, based out of Singapore, will entail about 50% travel, primarily within the APAC region.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Project Management

• Lead projects involving new plant installations and continuous improvement.
• Manage overall project timelines and coordinate with the different stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of projects
• Work closely with co-manufacturing partners to provide technical support during entire project phase

Operations Support

• Provide Technical Support to ensure Quality, Productivity & Costs are optimized
